I was playing Halo Wars mission 14, the one where you take a reactor core to an apex with an Elephant, and I had basically completed the mission, the enemies were all cleared out, and all I had to do was drive the Elephant (which was about 100 metres away) to the Apex. I selected the Elephant and ordered it to the Apex. It didn't move. It was backed up against the wall and it looked like it was stuck between one of my base turrets. I recycled the turret and tried again. It didn't move. I blew up the base and tried again. It didn't move. I thought "there must be something I can do," (at this point I was already about 40 minutes in) so I opened up the Spirit of Fire menu and selected a MAC Blast. Horrible idea. I MAC Blasted the Elephant, which blew up. But the Reactor Core also took damage, it was on half health. After that, I thought "I just have to train a new Elephant and I'll be fine." Out of nowhere, two Sentinels fly over to my Core and start attacking it, so I thought "OH SHIT!" and immediately order ALL of my units over to help. They weren't fast enough. At that point, I only had Scorpions, and an army of infantry. The Core exploded and I failed the mission. Just now, I realize that I could've just dropped an ODST squad in to help. Fuck my life.
