Hangover Gaming

The headache has faded and the people have left, you clear the bottles and half eaten packets of crisps away from the desk, Facebook so badly fraped and gone that you can't be bothered quite yet, besides that clean white background is very bright. You log into Steam, or turn on your relevant console. What do you play.

My hangover games tend to take the form of something laid back, normally sim like. Most popular ones I've used in the past and still use these days are Harvest Moon on my DS, s'farming by hand, dont get much more laid back.

The original theme park, yeah I still boot it up from time to time, nostalgia is good for the hangover.

Jurrasic Park: Operation Genesis, s'nice and chilled.... barring storms, and driving a jeep around a herbivore paddock is oddly soothing.

And finaly Black and White 2, when playing good that is, building my city and watching all my happy villagers skip around, silly, cute and relaxing.

I usually play an MMO in this, all-too-often state. Previously WoW, nowadays it's RIFT.
Most of my other games require a bit of brain activity, thankfully MMOs barely require you to be alive to play.

Nothing... I've gotten a hangover once, and it lasted till 7pm the next day. I couldn't even look at a computer screen.

Not Cod, for the love of God not Cod! I fail so much when I have a hangover. I usually play Fallout New Vegas otherwise I'll not play anything and just blankly stare at my tv for about 30 mins untill I can be bothered to have a shower.

Edit: Although last time I was so hungover that while in a really difficult battle with a group of fiends I threw up on the floor! Not nice...

My room mates and I usually put in Fifa 11 and just play against the computer. Normally we just watch a movie though

I actually don't get hangovers.

I'm tired the day after drinking to much though.
I usually play a game that heavily relies on story-telling, because when I'm tired immersion sucks me in like never before.

But seriously... a long, involving skirmish in a large-scale RTS.
So, either an 80x80 map of Supreme Commander, or a 50+ star map of Sins of a Solar Empire.

Sleep, Food (bacon sandwich to replace sodium, banana to replace potassium, and lots of sweet milky tea to replace water, honestly it's like God in a cup when your hung over), then watch a non taxing film (e.g. Serenity, Zach and Miri make a porno, Clerks, Labyrinth etc..)

I don't go near the computer or XBox when hung over, there's something about gaming that gives me a massive headache and makes my right eye twitch for some reason S

... I don't get a hangover no matter what I drink so I crank up the sub-woofer and play something loud and obnoxious lots of gunshot shouting etc.. that'll teach those damn idiots for drinking... hypocrisy much I know.
