Anniversary for what you ask? Well, it's ten years ago today that PS3 firmware 2.40 launched with in-game XMB and Trophy support!

What was your first Trophy? How many have you unlocked over the years? And yes, I know, there are people that don't care about Trophies, we acknowledge that you exist.

According to psnprofiles.com, my first Trophy was for Super Stardust HD, "Hero of Lave", earned 10 years ago to the day.
Hero of Lave
Arcade - Complete planet Lave

My last Trophy was the Platinum for Dark Souls Remastered.
The Dark Soul
All trophies obtained. Congratulations!
In total I amassed 2876 Trophies over the past 10 years, coming up to level 19, whatever that means.

That includes 38 Platinums, 199 Gold, 545 Silver and 2094 Bronze Trophies.

My first trophy was the treasure raider trophy from Disgaea 3 (Which doesn't sound right, but that's what that site saying, at least).

I've unlocked 733 trophies over 73 games, with 10 gold trophies, 60 silver trophies and 663 bronze. I don't have any platinum trophies, because I really don't care about getting 100% completion in games (My highest completion rate is 75%).

Well according to that website, my first trophy was on Mirrors Edge on the 1st of January 1970. I don't think that's right somehow.

I think my fist trophy was in Fallout 3, though that wasn't the first game I played on my brand new PS3. That was Killzone 2 and it bored me to tears so it didn't last very long.

My last trophy was on Yoku's Island Express last night.

I have about 4200 trophies last time I looked, 18 of those are platinum. I never thought I'd be a trophy hunter but sometimes these things happen.

MY first trophy was seemingly a Rock Band 2 one. I guess the handful of PS3 stuff I had before that didn't have them or whatever.

My last trophy was beating a Conan Exiles boss.

Monster Hunter World, Second Son and Saints Row 4 are the only platinums (Destiny 1 is just missing playing a few matches of a game mode that no one ever played).

Rarest trophy is "Loot Legend" in Fortnite. Figures since the majority of the base doesn't play the campaign mode. and from personal experience, most of the ones in the campaign mode are terrible at scavenging (and now they all just whine about wanting to trade for guns that don't actually exist outside BR and/or have any benefit to them at their level)

Looks like OP has a wee bit more time on his hands than me. Anyways, here?s mine. [https://psnprofiles.com/c3RAMburger] My accounts been pretty quiet lately as I?ve actually been on my PC more in the limited time I have to play. I?d like to finish God of War and finally Platinum Bloodborne (literally missed 1/3 umbilical cord first playthrough) and then I?ll probably be engrossed with MGSV to completion.

I see you completed Killzone 2 on Elite difficulty, hats off to you!

That's a trophy I never got, but one that I still want to get one of these days, if I ever get a new PS3 or maybe subscribe to PS Now for a while. I never managed to get Radec down on Elite, I got through the first few phases of the fight a couple of times, but never managed to seal the deal. Didn't help that I lost my save file up to three times, so at the end my motivation to get it was kinda low.

Haha, thanks. It was difficult for sure, and the final couple checkpoints once you're in the palace took me a few hours of retries, but the funny thing was I also got the Demonslayer trophy on that run. I guess the time was tied to the checkpoints, which really helped.

Another ironic thing is I've heard quite a few people say that it (Elite run) was the most difficult trophy in the game by far, but there was no way in hell I was ever going to get some of those online trophies even with boosting, like the Valor ones. Best I got was the Career Ribbon for online, which is saying a lot because I rarely get into MP in general. KZ2 was a big exception though because it was so different, detailed and chaotically intense, even next to what's out there today.

Killing Radec on Elite and killing him within 20 minutes, that's darned good!😀

I loved Killzone 2's multiplayer, small tight maps, rotating objectives, sniper cloaks, the online integration on the Killzone 2 website, being able to review match movement data, tracking scores and what not, good times. I actually only miss two trophies from Killzone 2, ignoring DLC;
Heroic Survivor
Complete all missions on Elite difficulty level
Cross-Training Ribbon
Acquire all badge specific medals
Not sure if the Ribbon one is achievable when playing with only bots, because if not then I'll never be able to get Killzone 2's Platinum, which is a bit of a shame, I guess.

I joined Team Xbox in the 360 generation and so I have very few trophies as my Xbox became my primary system of choice (so I'd buy PlayStation for their exclusives still but anything available on both would be a Xbox buy) so my Trophy Count is tiny :(

According to your site, my first trophy was for Heavy Rain and I have 95 of them!

BOW BEFORE MY GREATNESS!

[small]Just to make myself feel better, I do have 87,721 Achievement Points on my Xbox Profile so I have that going for me...[/small]

No doubt you'd be able to smoke me online if you got all those other ones, but yeah we are both out of time and out of luck. [https://www.playstationtrophies.org/game/killzone-2/guide/] It's kinda funny, because if I don't count Shadow Fall, I stopped playing Killzone when my trophy percentages were:

Killzone: 49%
Killzone 2: 50%
Killzone 3: 51%

I'm cool with not getting the Platinum though, as I made a personal rule that I won't be concerned with Platinum'ing games with online focused trophies. Uncharted 4 was pleasantly void of any time consuming ones though, so kudos to Naughty Dog for understanding some people don't have oodles of time, but still like the idea of of "completing" games.

Too bad then. Those are some pretty coincidental percentages.

I also hardly ever bother with online trophies as most of them require an insane amount of grinding and that's not something I really like to do. Killzone 2 was a bit of an exception because I really liked the gameplay of it and naturally earned the online trophies through playing, getting the platinum would have been a tiny teensy cherry on top of an all-round great game for me, ah well.

87,721 Achievement Points, that sounds like a lot, how much did individual games give out again? 10,000 per game?

Freed up a weekend to play Second Son a few weeks ago, was a pretty fun game to play through, sans the unskippable cut scenes.

How is the campaign mode by the way? Is it getting much love after Epic latched onto the Battle Royal hype train? Thought it always looked like a fun Co-op game, but waited until it was supposed to be "free" in 2018 ( still waiting ).

I usually only go for a 100% if I really like a game and it doesn't involve too much grinding, or if it's a quick and easy get. A bit surprised by the number I managed to accumulate 😅 Sad to say I'm a bit of a Trophy whore 😅

It was kind of lagging until last xmas, when they finally started having a serious go at shaving off some of the more obnoxious free-to-play stuff. Nowadays you can actually get most things to progress over time in some reasonable manner without barreling cash at the loot llamas. Along with season/weekly shops where you spend regular mission rewards on specific items to offset RNG. The last big gameplay update took out RNG perks, essentially letting you grind (and there is no real money buy option for them) materials to adjust your guns perks and upgrade them.

That said, they pushed back the original deadline for the free release, and now its just in a nebulous "upcoming" and the last two sections of the campaign have remained just sitting there with placeholder content. I dont actually watch the hour long dev streams, but haven't seen any summaries where they've so much as discussed that whole bugaboo. They do drop events in and out that add new classes and guns and so on, or rotate game modes around that could be tests for future content, but said content and actual release is just kind of sitting there without any word. And the early access has been on sale a few times, which looked at objectively, is really weird practice to have a sale on access to your beta.

The other rampant issue has been a spillover from Battle Royale. You can get extra V-bucks in save the world from dailies and quests and milestones and login bonuses). So a decent chunk of BR players bit the bullet (especially around aforementioned sale) to try and quick cash out some cheap free skins or whatever I guess. The problems with this being that said V-bucks are one of your methods of levelling up, so if you don't spend them in StW, you start falling behind the curve. So now there's piles of underpowered people who have a vague at best understanding (most of them, some obviously do play legitimately) of how to play the game (a horde survival tower defense game vs a PvP shooter), trying to farm out daily objectives in missions, begging for guns and carries. Topping this off, the entire public chat is being drowned in "Trade" requests, because half the people playing don't seem to realize that the higher level guns aren't actually relevant until a higher level.

Close!

1,000 points per game (not including DLC, which can usually have between 250 to 500 or so, though that does not seem to be standard as I've seen some pretty big ones worth another 1,000)

I have had this thing for almost ten years though (according to my achievement list, my first achievement was Red Faction Guerrilla on 10/11/2009) and I used to actively hunt for achievements. I do not do that anymore (or at least I won't go far out of my way for them) but a lot of games default you about half the achievements in normal play.

I guess in my case it doesn't really help that I'm primarily a PC gamer, but after looking at steam, I only have 1 game that I have all of the achievements for and all of them are gettable by just playing the game. I only really had to work for two of them.

I only joined team Sony this generation. Before that I was Nintendo loyal with a sprinkling of PC, and when I got my 360 there was no reason to stay on PC.

Monster Hunter World... platinum
Wow, Monster Hunters takes A LOT of time commitment to get that platinum. I kinda got super tired of the grinding in the game during the very beginning of end-game. Anything I wanted to try out build-wise was basically I need to get lucky with decoration drops that'll probably take like another 200 hours playtime to get. I would've actually played the game more if everything was easily unlockable.

Oh yeah, decos are a royal pain in the ass. I never bothered too much trying to make a super-optimum build because of that. They did a patch in april (I think?) that boosted the whole decos and streamstones drops a fair bit, but some decos are still just elusive. Kind of wish they'd just tie decos specfically to monsters so you could target them a bit more properly.

The main big thing for the platinum is the RNG size crowns for miniature/giant monsters. Some of the event quests have those odds way increased though for all the regular mobs. Getting all the Elder Dragon ones was a bit more of a luck of the draw.

I do have 411 hours on it, but mostly pop on for the event stuff or when a new monster gets added nowadays. And have a regular set of friends I play with who've picked up the game kind of staggered out, so I'm not just solo grinding at the millstone.

I have never really been into FPS to be fair, there are a few I like but I'm more into RPGs and action adventure games. Maybe I never gave it a fair shot, but it was the first game I played on my brand new PS3 and was trying stuff out. I put Fallout 3 on after Killzone 2 and spent the whole night playing that.

And as for the amount of trophies you have, keep at it kid, you'll get there eventually:)
