Firstly sorry for the almost multi-topic subject, i wasnt sure what was the best wording so i just added a few / for good measure.
Sometimes when i have been to watch a movie or played a game for a length of time i walk around afterward feeling different. I seem to gain a bit more posture etc when been watching a bond movie at the movies or after playing a 3 hour stint of AC i keep seeing the world differently, boxes arnt just boxes, i see routes up buildings ha. Of course after a while this just wears off and i return to my usual monkey brained self.
I was wondering if anyone has experienced this "effect" before and what are your experiences.

I played some ME2 and started talking fast like Mordin for a bit (I only played for 2 hours, and the effect lasted about 15 minutes).

Not in the way you described in your example. Although some movies have made my think about how I live my life. For example, when I first watched Yes Man (or whatever, with Jim Carrey), I started thinking about how negative I am towards people and things; and how I always ignore opportunities when they crop up. I actually tried to go a week without saying no (within reason). I think it was actually a very interesting week. But after that, I said fuck it, and went back to my normal routine of w/e I feel like doing.

After playing AC brotherhood for 30 minutes I started to run around like an assassin in my backyard.

Kinda deeper than what I've seen in this thread so far but A Clockwork Orange is what made me interested in politics.

Not with games, but with films, definitely. I pick up behaviours, accents and things of that nature easily, and end up partially mimicking characters from films.

So yeah, I do.

Yes, I've had stuff like that happen. Just a couple days ago I was thinking about how a slanted surface I saw was perfect for placing a portal on after playing a lot of Portal 2. I guess after playing a game for a while, your brain gets conditioned to see things a certain way, and the effect stays for a while after playing the game.

This. Fight Club changed my life. And then the book did it again.

I watched the Eragon movie... and after that I lost all faith in mankind.

But, in all seriousness:
I have watched movies and read books that have made me take a close look at my philosophy, but I don't think I've ever started talking with the same accent as the main character or anything like that.
