Goldeneye's Jungle level and Half-Life 2's airboat section have both made me motion sick due to overly-smooth movement, green textures, and nonstandard Field of View. However, the only time I have thrown up is when I parked up at Black Mesa East; I was just taking a wander, the field of view returns to normal, the pace slows right down for a talky section and my gut goes "Okay! Not concentrating on the game any more, time to everse!" At which point I found myself running to the bathroom.

Oddly enough, nothing else makes me motion sick; I can even read or play handheld games in cars without feeling sick, which I hear is common.

alot of people got sick just because it was filmed from a camcorder POV and it was shakey. not for weak costitutions

The whole thing! A lot of people can't cope with the filming style and rapid motion. Ask any cinema-attendant friend, they'll confirm the number of people who've thrown up during Cloverfield...

It was the whole shaky handy-cam/first-person perspective the movie was filmed in that did the trick, not the actual content. As gamers, we're used to and immune to it, but the general populace is not.

i didnt feel like eating while playing, but luckily i didnt puke
