Hating on JRPGs

I'm feeling like I might make a few videos mocking the shit out of some of the JRPGs that piss me off.

Off-topic, but I loved that game.

And yeah, JRPGs might actually be my favorite genre. I like RPGs in general, but I seem to play JRPGs more often.

Why spend all this effort making sure people know you have a different opinion than them about JRPGs? Granted i dislike them too, but jesus there are better things to spend your time constructively on.

I did not like that game. That monologue after being stabbed pissed me right off. Also the script is rather weak, it's like a Tales game but with the humour removed.

Final Fantasy X

Kingdom Hearts (1,2)

Also, i'm getting Tales of Vesperia soon.

Becuase making fun of things is fun? Because it's a break from endless facile "Your somethingest something in a something game" threads?

The hell is wrong with JRPGs? They're RPGs that have a specific style to them that, for some reason, reminds people of Japan, I guess. There are other games that have long-winded explanations of settings, monologues after getting stabbed, and monologues at any point in time.

EDIT: And dammit, MOST GAMES have that "preachy, insipid bullshit."

If you don't like JRPGs, don't play them and let other people enjoy it. If you have the overwhelming need to describe your views on the genre, just make a simple post. After all, post takes a minute, and then you're done. Making a youTube video describing your hatred in detail is a waste of time, and not just yours.

No I was talking about the topic of the thread Eternal Sonata. I havn't played Lost Odyssey.

In a video, I can have an example of what I'm mocking running to show why it deserves mockery. You can't do that in a post.
