Have you ever been so excited that you screamed?

Now, I noticed a lot of people tend to *squee* or some such thing on the forums when they're excited about something.. and that got me thinking at first how utterly ridiculous the idea was for anyone to actually squeal in excitement for a video game. It just seemed... strange. But then I realized I had literally hid myself in my room and let out an audible yell when I heard about the recent Bungie "Bag O' Swag" and saw the picture for a box with "Myth: The Fallen Lords" on it in the background picture. (I am a HUGE Bungie Fanboy - not Halo, but Bungie itself, and also for its older games)

So, I'm curious fellow Kotaku Escapist readers, have you ever been so excited that you LITERALLY.. I don't know.. overflowed, with an audible noise?

EDIT: Oh my god. Haha, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean Kotaku, I meant to say Escapist. I had just switched between tabs, and my mind was slightly else-where.

I think I'll just leave this here-

EDIT: And Mass Effect 3. Yeah, I had a massive boner for most of the VGAs.

Yes, the other day, I didn't scream, but I yelled in victory 'YES!', when I won a race in Gran Turismo 5. It felt like quite an achievement.

I made odd noises while watching the latest Daigo live stream. I now realize why people get excited over sports.

I'm a very difficult person to excite, and I have never made any such noise. At most, hearing news of an upcoming game that sounds pretty awesome will elicit raised eyebrows and an occasional nod.

But then, I'm not a Kotaku reader. In fact, I had to google Kotaku because I had never heard of it before... so I suppose my input on this matter is invalid.

I can be in an excitable mood then get some news I've been waiting for ... at such times I have been known to, as you so eloquently put it, 'squee', while also jumping up and down and hugging people with a "Don't help, my face is stuck" grin.

I squealed with excitement when I heard they were making a second Pokemon Ranger. (Hey, I really like Pokemon Ranger 1) Too bad it turned out to be a huge pile of poo when it came out. At least the third game made up for it. :/

I watched Scream 4 at the movies last night. I shouted "YEAH!", "OUCH!", "OH GOD!", "BAM!", "DEWEY NO!", or several variations thereof during the murders and fight scenes.

So, the answer would definitely be yes.

Well, when I was in my high school's production of Beauty and The Beast, we had a confetti cannon. When we were right at the end of the kick-line for "Be Our Guest" the cannon went off. I was so excited I screamed.

Hm...

Just a while ago I was in a free for all, Black Ops. 3 People were tied at the top with 1450. I was at 1250 points and managed to win by getting a quick last 5 kills.

I ended up stealing a kill from one of the players in the lead and killing him for the last killcam. I yelled "YES!" while I heard a couple of people raging on their mics.

Haha, I apologize. I meant to type Escapist, not Kotaku - wasn't paying close enough attention to what I was typing, I guess.

Probably after reading every Guild Wars 2 preview. That game is looking like the finest MMO ever created.

Weirdly enough, despite spending the majority of my time on games, the only time I can recall being worked up enough to vocalise my emotions is while watching cricket.

I actually get up off my chair and yell at the TV sometimes; when it's Twenty20, Australia v England, the last over, England's only a few runs behind us... it gets intense, it really does.
