I don't spend large amounts of money on terrible games. I usually research games before I buy them, unless they are cheap and old. In that case, I'll just buy them.

The only justification I need is to actually BUY a game. $60 is a lot of groceries.

Otherwise you shouldn't need any. Each game has its own merits, allowing us to discover where the game excels and where it fails. And from this we can craft a better media. Or would be able, if the industry wasn't so corrupted by corporate pandering.

Of course, this is largely due to my analytical stance. Every game has something to teach us about the art.

Dawn Of War 2. Its a good game! You didn't waste your money. I realised the horrific truth later...

"I've looked forward to this game, even though it's pretty bad. Hey, it's used for five bucks and gamestop's having a 3 for 2 sale? Ok, lets find some good stuff..."

Cough cough torrent cough.

You didn't see that, I swear!

I don't know, I haven't bought too many terrible games in my life.

Given that I'm a poor student right now, wasting 40 to 60 bucks can be a big deal for me and my awesome minimum wage job. Especially considering the fact that my computer is pretty outdated thanks to my latest videocard burning up last year...

I try to do my research first.

I only bought Gears of War for co-op. I didn't like it too much.
