Have you left your home in the last day?

I haven't. For the past 24 hours, I haven't left my apartment. Why? Because I haven't felt I needed to. I went grocery shopping yesterday, as well as spent a ton of time hanging out with friends. Tomorrow I go back to work. But I haven't had any physical contact with another human. Simply because I haven't felt the need to.

I had a roommate in college who thought I was crazy for just hanging around inside all the time, but considering his penchant for going to strip clubs and being the double-sideways baseball cap wearing, pants-below-the-waist kind of idiot, I've decided his opinion isn't really worth much. But I simply don't find many things to do outside of my home. I can read a book, play a game, catch up on a TV show, do some writing. Even when watching TV I'll go some exercises because I get bored just sitting there.

Yet I think if I told some people that, they'd think I was some kind of social outcast. Because I just didn't have any reason to leave my apartment. What do you guys think?

I went out yesterday. Got a haircut and groceries.

I went outside today, but just to throw recycling in the bin.

This. I got groceries and went on a short hike today. And went out to pick up dinner yesterday. Before that, I hadn't left the house since Tuesday, and I'm not entirely sure when I will next. Probably when I go out for groceries next weekend.

but the point i want to make is i go out of the house because im a forced to. i need to go to work, to university, to store to pick up stuff. had i removed such needs i would be perfectly fine sitting at home 24/7 all year long.

I haven't worked since Friday. And I don't work until Tuesday. I've only gone out to play the remembrance day ceremony today for my hometown and taken out the trash.

Yes I actually have, my own apartment I left 2 hours ago for school and I arrived there 8 hours ago from my parents place so I have actually been there less of all places in the last 24 hours...

Today I'm at work and yesterday I only went out to pick up my mum from the supermarket. It's too cold to go outside and do stuff!

Yeah, I had to go to work, though I'm not terribly social so I normally don't go out, well I'm pretty terrible with people, really if I talked about you'd probably think I'm crazy, I know that after deleting all those ramblings I started typing since 12 AM, I'm pretty sure I think that : /

If I can help it, I'd rather stay in as much as possible but I have 2 jobs at the moment so meh
Busy all the time, plus going round to my mum's for dinner once a week makes me do something on my day off

Well yeah since I was working yesterday.
Other than work I suppose it's uncommon for me to leave the house these days since I can head into town after work. I did however recently had to go out to see the doctor and get a haircut and rarely go into town again (if my shift time at work leave me little time to look around in town).
Lastly it rare for me (don't do it so often) I do go out to the city to hang out with my best mate or going somewhere (shopping with my parent.

I had to go out because of work but i can easily spend three days inside the house.
i also spend weekends not talking to anybody.

Going out and socializing is over rated.
However, i still cant seem to switch my brain to understand that unlike when I was a student and had to go to school almost everyday, I only go out in public about 3 days a week, and therefore do not need to buy so much clothes.

Between work, friends, my boyfriend and going to visit my Mom, I can't remember he last time I spent an entire day relaxing at home.

Actually, the day after I finished my Masters, I was pretty hungover so I played games all day and only left the house once to get junk food. That was such an awesome day, it was about a month ago.

Sure. Just returned from today's uni lectures, and I'm about to go out again for groceries.

That said, while I'm not an unsociable person in general, I do frequently enjoy having time to myself, be it for purposes of study or leisure, so I often don't leave my apartment for a day or two if my schedule allows it.
