Haze

so today i bought a PS3 of a friend and with it came resistance 2 and haze
I havnt played resistance yet but im playing haze and just beat the first mission and so far it sucks.
so for anyone thats played or beaten Haze is it good or does it get any better?
or should i just trade it in?

I rather enjoyed Haze, especially when I gained the play dead ability. But all in all it's not worth keeping. Maybe beat it at least once but then get rid of it.

Haze is bad. Very bad.

Considering that this is the same developer (Free Radical Design, now Crytek UK) that made the rediculously awesome Timesplitters series, it's very disappointing.

It wasn't so bad way back in the day, to be fair. It was a very short game, I seem to recall. Play through it once, then trade it. Don't expect to get more than a couple of quid for it though.

I certainly think that you would find Resistance 2 to be the better game in the pair.

If you need the backstory its "single American saves the day in Britan" and very little else.

As for Haze, well i tried it once and i found Yahtzees review of it quite justified.

Haze is really not good, then again it's also old so I don't know if it's worth anything anymore.

To give you the short version, nope, it sucks from start to finish. Surprisingly the suck increases following your obvious early game plot twist.

Resistance on the other hand, now thats how you make an FPS!

Nope, it stays the same until you go over to the mexican side (oh come on they are..) And even then it stays boring and still rips off Halo.

I played it(I actually bought it at launch. Sucks/I'm dumb right?). It's on the lower end of the "meh" scale bordering on bad. Graphics were sub standard at the time, no real glitches(that I know of), story wasn't very good, gun play was hit and miss, the gameplay features kinda suck, when a major story point happens the game doesn't really change, and the ending sucks.

Stop playing it. It really doesn't get much better. Trade it in for something else. You probably won't get much, but you could put it toward Resistance 2 if you like Resistance Fall of Man.

edit: and as someone else mentioned it is very short. I beat it in less than an afternoon and traded it in the following day and got a bunch of questions from the clerks on why I'm already turning it in.

I tried playing it coop with my friend once. It was terrible. I said fuck it after about an hour.

Haze is a horrible game, the dialogue almost made my brain melt.

Resistance 2 on the other hand is a great game, especially the co-op campaign IMO. The first Resistance is also fantastic.
