Okay, I'm turning to you guys for advice on the gaming headset side of things. I'm looking to upgrade from a desktop Logitech mic that keeps flopping over and thus can't really be used and from my desktop speaker set. Ideally, I'd like a headset with a built in microphone as part of my 'planned upgrades' includes getting a Rift, and I would not be able to find a desk mic with that on, in addition to my plans of getting a nicer keyboard.
The ones I was considering were:
Psyko Carbon, or the slightly lesser model, both of which need an internal sound card (which i have no clue what would be a good match)
Razer Kraken
SteelSeries Sibera Neckband
SteelSeries Siberia V2
SteelSeries Sibera Elite

The additional recommendations I got from some others were:
Antlion Modmic stuck to a semi-decent pair of headphones
SoundBlaster Tactic 3D Rage Wireless (I'm not too hip on wireless headphones, but the last pair I owned were very very old)
Zalman Zm-Mic1 or the upper-class ModMic with a Superlux HD-681 EVO
Audio-Technica ATR2100 or ATR2500 USB mic along with some headphones

Due to the nature of my primary gaming interests, I want to avoid speakers at all cost so there is no echo or anything, and I'd like a decent quality mic to avoid lots of voice distortions from my end. Plus, I intend to change out my desk for something smaller but with just as much usable area, so speakers won't really be an option.
I'd love a replaceable mic or one that can be easily protected, I've had a few headsets die due to mics snapping off (all of which arrived in the package broken) so i'd like to be able to keep it safe or replace it.
What of those do you suggest or others do you recommend?

I use a SoundBlaster Tactic3D Sigma[footnote]Not the Alpha - that one has a plastic, fragile headband.[/footnote]. I've had it for almost a year now and it has never let me down once. It comes with a program for fiddling with bass levels and equalizers, it has a good quality microphone and the sound is of a similarly high quality.

The microphone can be easily removed and the headset connector wire is an odd, flat design that is robust in construction, like the rest of the headset.
