well, the part of you that died during this horrible heartache, was the weak part... NOW YOU ARE STRONGER!
Personally, I drink Jack Daniels until I pass out, then I move on with my life. (after the post-heartache hangover, that is)
Really good music, and the gym. I never was much of a gym person, but it helps me to work out some aggression and hang on to that last shred of sanity. Some games can be pretty good for this too, but I think for heartache it helps more to get out of the house and be around other people, even if you don't want to socialize.
Pretty weak original post... How do you deal with it? Try providing some context in the future.
OT: I play video games that don't rely too much on the mind. Turn on Audiosurf, tune in to some good songs, and tune out.

I have furking depression, so not well. Found a trick that represses emotion during times of extreme emotional duress, but I'm pretty sure it only works for me because I willed it into existence with my fractured mind.
Also, I found archery and sword fighting very soothing. Shooting big iron rods into a wall was very relaxing and I graduated my sword class to lightning reflecting off the buildings in downtown Vancouver, so the memory of Thor's approval makes me incredibly happy.

most of these guys don't know what they are talking about... time and activity does not help, you just need to man up, watch some rocky, or like airplanedude550 said, drink JD... look at some courage wolf(or insanity wolf, if thats your thing), the woman is the one missing out bro, your a legend and you know it 
I put on my headphones and stick my player on shuffle. I pretty much just lose myself in the music for about an hour or two if I can spare it.
Add alcohol to the mix if it's the weekend and no problem seems insurmountable.

It sorta depends... if its a needle-y pokey feeling then pop some anti heart burn meds.
If its that relationship kind then take a step back an look at what you have accomplished in life and then take the day by storm doing something new AND DO IT AWESOME-LY.

Music, books, friends and time. That's the best way in my opinion. Its not easy but it works for me.
