Heavy Rain patch coming "very soon"

Sony Computer Entertainment America has confirmed a new patch for Heavy Rain will be making its way to PS3?s soon.

A mod revealed on the US Playstation forums that we should expect to see this ?very soon?.

?The latest news is that the game patch has now completed development and is currently in the final stages of testing. While a fixed release date is not currently available we are expecting the update to be released very soon.

As mentioned previously, this patch is not targeted purely at the issues reported in this thread but does address a range of minor issues which could be contributing factors. Given the small percentage of players affected by these issues and the difficulty that has been had in reproducing them here we?re optimistic that this patch resolves your problems but cannot guarantee that this will be the case.?

The release of Heavy Rain was met with a few minor bugs which irregularly affected the visuals and caused some sound issues. A number of gamers experienced freezing issues, something this patch hopes to fix.

I really hope this fixes the black screen of death loading bug...I just got it and I was about to identify who the killer was ><

Though "minor bugs" niggles me, I wouldn't call a widespread issue which denies players to continue playing the game... "minor"

Also..."very soon?" I hope QD isn't on Valve time

I hope this...doesn't fix the nudity bug.
