Hello, I'm new here you I'm just making this thread to say hello.

I know these threads need a discussion value so how was it than you first time joined the Escapist?

How was it? Erm sort of a relief, id been watching the vids on the website for ages (not just ZP but i will admit its the reason i came to the site in the first place) and also following the forums, but as a none member u cant comment so it was a relief to throw in my 2 cents every now and again = P

When I first joined I was all in a tizzy because I found a new playground, and in my daze I ended up getting a suspension very early on. I'm a lot more soft now, as long as I stay out of any religious threads. I urge you to do the same.

But otherwise, When I first joined. I pretty much found a small ragtag group in the FGs and they remain my closest friends here to this day.

Well my friends showed me some zero punctuation that they down loaded so i watched them all and wanted to watch more so i came here watched some ZP then a few other videos. I had a look at forums and thought to myself "I want to be able to express my oppinion with people like me" so i joined and i haven't regreted it for a second. Welcome to the escapist.

Welcome to the site...just ignore the screams and you'll do fine here. I first joined here because I was a ZP fan but I stayed because this is actually a pretty cool place when we're not bickering over which console is better.

Welcome to the escapist (if you having been lurking here forever, as some people only decide to start making accounts after so long of scouring the forums)

When I first joined I had been watching ZP for a while (sort of the biggest reason most people had joined) and didn't start posting until about a month later. I usually find that I was never used to the forums of most places before them and this was the second forum I actually joined (the first being a pokemon based one) and the escapist has always managed to keep me interested.

That seems to be a popular trend actually. I even have a friend irl, who does that but doesn't make an account, even though I've told him to countless times.

i didn't make a thread on my arrival here
i just posted frequently enough so that nobody would realise i was a newbie and i'd get away without any hassle
as it happens the Escapist is a lovely place and you rarely get that sort of grief here anyway
