It's me again. I was here two years ago gathering surveys: Well, I'm back.

Every year, I write an article on the video game market called State of Indie, and every year I try to make it better than the previous one. Here's the last one:

For the 2024 edition, I want to get a broader cross-section of developers, so in addition to the longer surveys I also have a shorter one that's meant to gauge the overall feel of the market. It'll take less than five minutes to answer my questions and you'll be doing me a big favor.

You are eligible to take this survey if:
  • You have released a game in 2024, or;
  • You intend to release a game in 2024.
I'm taking a pretty broad understanding here, so "releasing a game" includes:
  • Non-commercial games
  • Paid DLC for existing games
  • Major content patches for existing games
  • A game exiting Early Access
My goal is to get at least 100 responses before November, so feel free to share this with any other developers you know.

Here's the link:

Thanks in advance,

~Andrew

If you weren't planning to, you should definitely put this up at ResetEra too. Quite a few industry folks frequent it.

Check in with staff if it's alright first tho, otherwise you might incur mod wrath.
