So It's Saturday night, I have 60$ at my disposal and I want to buy a game. Nothing out now really stands out so I've come up with a small list and I want you to help me decide which one to get.

The Saboteur
Enslaved: Odyssey to the west
Dead space 2
Mafia 2

I've heard a lot of good and bad things about these games, but i just want some of your opinions. I'm looking for a good story game, maybe one that I could complete in one night. I hear Dead space 2 is awesome, but i got about 2 missions into the first one and got bored and im not that big on horror games.

DEAD SPACE 2!!! Enslaved has only like 3 enemy types so ur killing those trough the whole game.
Mafia is boring and doesnt have side-missions. Saboteur is boring in my opinion expect it has boobies and cool car. Dead Space has great story, its really intense, it has nice multiplayer and its worth multiple playtroughs because you get nice little bonuses if you beat the game and then harcore mode opens which is really insane. Your gonna love it.

I enjoyed Mafia II, but it's not that wonderful. Enslaved was really captivating and cool, thought a tad short. I loved it, and would highly recommend it, except dead space 2 looks like a really fantastic game. I haven't played it, but that looks like a really stand-out title that I wouldn't want to miss. If that weren't on the list I'd have no problem suggesting Enslaved. Sabateur looked neat, I might pick that up myself if I find it for a good price.

I wouldn't get Dead Space 2 if you didn't like the first one. Enslaved is probably the best choice there, imo.

I've played the Saboteur and Mafia 2, don't pay a lot for Saboteur and you will be happy, pay that full $60 and you will feel ripped off. This is very GTA inspired with a touch of Ass Creed thrown it. The main character is pretty unlikable but the game is ok, not really very story driven. Mafia 2 is very story driven and isn't a GTA clone. I quite liked it, but what makes it good (the story) isn't in the DLC so avoid those. Oh and Mafia 2 is quite short.

If it's any factor on your decision, Dead Space 2 has been recieving very high praise.
The highest out of your choices, I believe.

I've played the Saboteur and it's OK. the beginning is the best part, IMO.

I personally LOVE Dead Space 2.
The Saboteur is pretty generic.
Enslaved is a JRPG so I automatically hate it.
Mafia 2 was fun but not as good as Dead Space 2.

Might I make a couple of suggestions that aren't on your list that come out in the next couple of months or are already out:

Marvel vs. Capcom 3
Duke Nukem Forever
Dead Rising 2
Portal 2
Transformers: War for Cybertron

Anyway. on your list I'd say Dead Space 2

I found enslaved to be dull and easy, with uncreative enemy design. Dead space 2 is supposed to be quite good, but only if you like that sort of thing.
Seems an odd mix of games, IMO

The only game I've played is Enslaved. I REALLY Recommend it. The gameplay needs a bit updating, but the story and amazing motion capture and voice acting take priority in this game. The gameplay is passable, nothing special. However, the story and everything else, from the world, to the characters, are some of the absolute best this generation. Memorable character, natural interaction, and lots of memorable moments make this game a must-buy for me.

The story is short and can be completed in a night if you play nonstop.

Mafia 2 is pretty good, it's worth the 60Ù$ I paid for it. But I suggest you wait a bit. I mean so many good games are coming out later this year and even in the first quarter that it would be stupid to buy a game at 60$ now. Like Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, Dragon Age 2, a GTA-style game where you play as a cop tracking down a serial killer (thank you Escapist Trailers), Yakuza 4. I mean, come on! Don't settle for Enslaved or something but I have too say Dead Space and Mafia 2 are pretty fun once you get into them.

Dead Space 1 was fantastic, and Dead Space 2 took all of that and made it better.
Get Dead Space 2.

Lets do this in order.
The Sabotuer-Pretty great. Depends on how much you pay and how much you like climbing around a huge city. I was hooked for a good 20-25 hours before putting it away. I go back to it every once in a while.

Enslaved-Have not played, so see other posts.

Dead Space 2-If you didn't like the first one, you probably won't like the second one, right?

Mafia 2-A story driven open world game. Solid driving, solid gunplay, great story. Kinda feels empty. There is nowhere near enough gunplay, too much driving, and is quite short. Suggest a rental.

And remember, leave the options open for other games once you are looking.

Dead Space or Enslaved. But a further question, are you open to recommendations of older games that can be acquired for less and will offer a completely different gaming experience?

First off, the dollar sign goes before the number. Seriously, is it that fucking hard to find out? It's supposed to be $60 not 60$. I see so many people put the dollar sigh after but it's before.
OT:Dead Space 2, no contest.

The Saboteur-
Had a lot of fun with this one. Kind of like GTA IV or Mercenaries 2 in a WWII setting. The story was meh, the cutscenes were painful, but the gameplay was fairly solid and the art style was unique and well-done. Not the best gunplay mechanics I've ever dealt with, but not bad. Also, nothing beats bombing the hell out of nazi stations.
Enslaved: Odyssey to the west -
A neat retelling of Journey to the West. The combat was fun, if repetetive, the graphics were good, and the setpiece sequences were cool. Short, and not as deep as some other similar games (Darksiders comes to mind), but still fun.
Dead space 2-
Haven't played more than the demo. I played the first one, thought it was okay, but was disappointed that it wasn't actually scary. Judging by the demo, not much has changed in the sequel. If you enjoyed the first one, I'm sure this one will be fun, too.
Mafia 2-
I loved the story in this. As far as traditional gangster stories go, this one ranks as my second favorite right under Goodfellas. The graphics were good, the world was detailed (although fairly sparse, but I'll get to that), the driving and shooting mechanics were well-done, the cut scenes and voice acting were good, and the missions were fairly varied. The only downside is that the "open world" is far from open; other than having to drive to each mission and then drive home each night (seriously, the game makes you drive home after a mission just to go to sleep and move on to the next chapter; sometimes you'll have to drive clear across the map just to drive all the way back for the next day's mission), there's basically nothing to do in the world.
