Ok, I am trying to find a series of books that I started many years ago but have since lost the books in a move and have completely forgot the titles. I will give a rundown of what I remember.
It is a D&D group who goes to their DM's house. The DM starts the campaign and they get trapped inside the game. Through the first book they have a crazy time just surviving and trying to find a way back to the real world. One of them dies, the boy who is crippled in real life is a fighter and strong in the game and doesn't want to return home and the two girls get raped in the fantasy world. After the first book they find a way back out but they decide to go back to find their friend whom they lost and they find out that their DM is really a mage from the fantasy world and the whole purpose was to summon them to it or something. This book was made before 2000, and I am thinking it was published somewhere in the early 90s if I can remember. I've been savaging for days trying to find this series but my brain is just dead.
