Hey all,
Working on overclocking my Q6600 on the P35C-DS3R mobo with Ripjaws X (1333mhz - 2 x 4gb), and I'm having trouble with voltages, and timings.
I can get to 356 fsb fairly easily, which gives me 3.2ghz (9 x 356), but not sure if my voltages are set right. The CPU has a VID of 1.2625 V, which isn't -that- bad. I'm chasing 3.6ghz, i.e. 400 x 9. 3.2ghz is running with 1.43750, although that might be too much (runs up to 70 degrees C).
My question is; my 1333mhz ram seems to handle 356 fsb. Would it be possible to get it up to 400, or would I have to go and get the 1600mhz versions? Should I leave it to set its own timings?
Regards,
