Good day escapists.
I am a college student at Portsmouth College and I am currently enrolled in the creative media (Games) Course.

This course involves designing games and look in-depth at the business side of it, and I have been tasked with writing up a questionnaire and posing it to a number of people.
I thought, the best way of doing it for a large group of gamers would be to take it to the escapist. So please, if you have a few minutes, could you please help me by filling out this questionnaire. Thank you very much
(The Corse I am on requires me to gather market research about online games industry for an advergame project based around a Mexican fast food restaurant chain)

Question 6.
If a game created for advertisement purposes was created to the standard of a mainstream game, Would you pay for it (Please explain if you have the time)

1:You need to specify this one. Online like World of Warcraft No Games like Call of duty yes. Along with games that are on sites like addicting games.com.(not advertising btw)

2:Yes, games online like the previously mentioned website but you need to specify. I think you mean plants vs. zombies type game not everybody could get that.

3: These days A except on weekends

4: A

5: All i can think of are the Burger King games and yeah they should sell them at the place for free or they will never get anyone to buy them especially online. At least at the store they can trick little kids out of 15 bucks and parents that don't know better. Personally niether because i wouldn't but that piece of shit racing game or 2 d burger shooter.

6: If a mainstream game where to be in the league of a minstream game it wouldn't revolve around a Mickey D's or even a Stick(which i went to the first time today and is not litterally fast food). I think you should rework these questions because your speaking of impossiblities and no i'm not speaking to you from an elite gamers standpoint. You can not make a game revolved around burgers that isn't an internet short put on NewGrounds.

You are probably trying to make something to specifically target a commerical interprise well on this site your going to get onesided answers because we don't even consider zynga to be a real game corporation and at least they put some effort into their knock off's. So if you want this to feel real or useful then make up results and explainations, change your questions, or re-adjust your topic. Games are an overarching umbrella of media if i could suggest something pick play before you buy games. Games that give you and hour to play like games cost 6 dollars or World of warcraft which you buy and pay monthly subscription.

-Monday nights into tuesday morning don't expect anything except drunken banter that is all.
