I was going to change my Gamertag to match my handle pretty much everywhere else, (CrimsonRegret) and I guess I lapsed into stupidity and thought, "I'll make a new Hotmail account in advance" Well I did, "crimsonregret@live.com." So now I can't change my Gamertag even though no one else owns it. If I close that Hotmail account could I change my Gamertag to CrimsonRegret because technically it is not a tag in use? Or do I delete it and now wait until it is "recycled"?
