Here's the deal.

My wife likes to watch me play Overwatch. I recently got a headset with mic so I could chat and my experience is vastly improved. Hers, however, is greatly diminished as she can no longer hear anything.

So here's what I need. I need the audio to come over the TV and the headset at the same time (gotta be able to listen in surround for junkrat's tire) or I need some sort of splitter that will allow both of us to hear on separate headsets while still allowing me to chat.

Can either of these things be done? If so, how? Links to any devices I may need from amazon are appreciated.

How does your TV and headset get audio from the computer? If they're both using 3.5mm you can use a simple 3.5mm splitter or you could split out to two headsets.

If your TV is using HDMI but your headset is using 3.5mm then you can use a 3.5mm splitter and find a way to connect 3.5mm to the TV instead (by either using DVI/3.5mm instead of HDMI or setting HDMI audio source to analogue if your TV has that option), use a HDMI audio extractor with a 3.5mm output or use a 3.5mm splitter with one end going to the headset and the other going into your computer's line in port, then playing back the line in audio over your HDMI output.

If your headset connects via USB then you need some sort of software solution.

I should have mentioned this on a PS4.
Well...are you using the audio port on the controller? I guess you could split to two headset there but I believe the port only has two contacts that can either do mono output and mono input or stereo output so you would need a second headset with the same capabilities as the first.

If it's connected another way then you don't really have the choice of both.

Not being a resident expert on PS4 audio I can't say for sure but it all depends on how you receive audio to your headphones. The popular ways are over a 3.5mm jack from the TV or from L-R RCA (likely with piggybacks) to 3.5mm female then the male 3.5mm cable on the headphones. If you're using the headphone jack from the TV its likely your speakers are disabled so you wanna see if your TV has a L-R audio out and connect your headphones to the TV that way (you may need to buy a female 3.5mm to male audio RCA cable if you don't already have one). Of course if your headphones are already using the audio out on your TV then you likely just need to change audio output settings on your PS4.

Of course I don't need to tell you that if your TV is loud enough then then everyone on your team will have a case of chronic echo; they will be able to hear everything coming from your TV and will most likely mute you. But hey, it's a free country :)
