Hey guys, this is basically a call out for help and partially a shameless self promotion attempt under the surface.
My friends and I started a Battlefield 3 server called North 44, and slowly we've begun to expand the North 44 name in an attempt to fund our server, and hopefully future expansion. Essentially what we have currently is
- Battlefield 3 server, and battlelog platoon page
- Website at www.North44.info
- development of pages on facebook, and a twitter account (which have been stalled to get the website going)
We also have plans to start a youtube channel with certain ideas (but cant really speak on that until we get it going). Essentially what I'm asking for help with is regarding how you make this all work together. Our main issue is funding our battlefield servers (potentially soon to become multiple servers) by directing traffic to our website to get some money off our google adsense ads. I'd like to hear from experiences specifically from people who've been part of clan-sites before and how they funded their operations, how they generated traffic, and what their community seemed very responsive and unresponsive too.
Also if you get a chance, please check out our website and give us an opinion on layout and functionality (its www.north44.info, don't be misleaded by the .info domain, we're trying to get .ca so we decided not to pay the extra for .com until we find out if we can get .ca or not)
