So I guess this will be more along the lines of tech advice. I just bought a 3ds XL and wanted to do a data transfer. Learning that the transfer would format my old 3ds infuriated me because that seemed utterly pointless as a simple copy would suffice. So I backed out of it and simply tried to get into my Nintendo account. Which I couldn't do. Apparently Nintendo regulates how many consoles can be tied to a single account for some retarded reason and since I already have one 3ds tied to my account I can't log in with another 3ds. That has to be the most brain-dead retarded thing I have encountered in a very long time. So that brings me back to the idea of a transfer and I need to know; will my Nintendo account and all my funds be transferred from the old 3ds to the new 3ds XL? I don't have any digital games to lose but a bit of money on my account that I don't want to lose.
