Well, I have started playing with my 3DS again and I am trying to pick up some new games to play since I will be travelling this month.

I already have:

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
Resident Evil: Revelations
Tales of the Abyss
Mario Kart 7
Super Mario 3D Land

I like the look of these titles:

Paper Mario: Sticker Star
New Super Mario Bros 2
Code of Princess
Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward
Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance

what would you guys recommend?

The only thing you haven't listed that I would recommend is Theatrythm Final Fantasy. If you like Final Fantasy even just a little bit you want Theatrythm Final Fantasy.

Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward
I haven't played Virtue's last reward, but it prequel, 9 hours 9 persons 9 doors, is one of my favorite DS games.

That said, from what I've heard virtue's last reward spoils 999s plot, so play 999 first.

The 3DS title I've had most fun with is Street Fighter 4. It's a really nice port. You can use the touchpad to instantly perform special moves, although you can alternatively set the touchpad to do treble kick/punch and do them normally.

The second most fun thing I've had was with the Sonic Classic collection, which is for the DS, but you can put those in the 3DS. You get Sonic 1, Sonic 2, Sonic 3, Sonic $ Knuckles and you can play Sonic 2 and 3 with Knuckles. It's essentially the four best Sonic games on one cartridge.

I'll tell you my general impressions of Code of Princess. I own the game and have beaten the story and done about 40% of the bonus missions. I played it on a 3DS XL.

Good Things:
-The combat is fun if you actual attempt to think about what you're doing. Unfortunately, most of the game can be easily conquered with thoughtless quick attack mashing.
-Figuring out new combos on the huge range of characters is fun (Note: you can only play as about 4 in the story, but can unlock around 40+? for Free Play mode).
-The main 4 playable characters all play very differently.
-You do feel pretty BAMF juggling 10 enemies in the air and finishing them with a long combo.
-In free mode you can play as anyone from the game (once unlocked), from the peasant villagers and a little girl to enormous dragon bosses and demon lords. So, yes, you can play through the campaign (in free mode) as any of the boss monsters you fight in the game.
-There's a lot of unique moves to experiment with and learn. Yes, the expanded roster in free play contains many similar fighters and some copies. But overall, there's a nice variety.
-The characters are a lot of fun (or you might hate them?) and the voice acting is very good.
-The art design and graphics are nice (the 3DS screen resolution is a bit too low for the sprites to really shine in combat, but it still looks good). It does however have an overall slightly blurry look in levels (probably because of the 3DS' low resolution display).
-The 3D is cool, makes it look like a pop-up story book. Unfortunately, the 3D makes the mediocre framerate even worse.
-The timings for moves and combos is really lenient, so even a novice can pull off cool stuff without much practice. (This could also be seen as a negative)
-There's alternate colors for each character, and equipment to find and optimize. Optimizing equipment can actually matter if you're say, under leveled.
-You level up characters and get equipment after battles (which could be either a good thing or a who cares things).

Bad Things:
-The story is pretty short, maybe 3-5 hours. It's hard to remember as I played this game in a lot of small chunks.
-Look up a Let's Play of this game. You see that bard, Allegro? Do you like him or not? Because I swear he was at least half the dialogue in the game. I liked him for the most part, and at least tolerated him later on. If he really grates on you, that could be an issue.
-Plot is bland.
-Locations and levels are generic, don't stand out visually (another forest level, YES!). Also, a low variety of locales.
-Most of the AI is incredibly stupid and slow. Only a few enemies, and most of the bosses, are an actual threat (usually because they catch you off guard, because you haven't had to try for the previous 30 minutes of play). Many enemies will simply walk up to you and stare at you. Maybe they'll attack you if you take a nap. However some enemies are pretty fun to fight; the Ents can actually get hits in and do some decent damage, and they have some tricky abilities and longer reach than you'd expect. If every AI were closer to the Ents', this game would be much better.
-It can be embarrassing playing this game in public where you're sitting close to other people. Mainly due to the all-too-youthful protagonist's attire. This of course depends on you individually :p
-You can win by mashing one button if you so desire.
-Mediocre framerate (especially with 3D on; in fact, I highly recommend not using 3D because of the exacerbated framerate issues it causes). Sometimes it gets bad enough to hamper my ability. Sometimes it feels like 10 FPS. And a majority of the time feels 15-20 FPS. It's pretty sad. The lenient timings for connecting moves and the fact most enemies never block means the bad framerate usually doesn't hurt your performance. It did make some laggy boss fights a bit of a pain, though.
-The protagonist is incredibly boring, aside from setting up jokes about her outfit.
-The bonus missions are just repurposed story levels. Here's that forest, again, but this time there's more trolls in it!
-The item shop sells crap 90% of the time.

About Multiplayer:
-I know no one who owns this game, so I haven't done the co-op; but I've read in reviews that the AI is even dumber in co-op.
-I played one 1v1 PvP match and the lag was pretty horrendous. I've read online that the netcode is just kinda bad.
-I hate the Break mechanic in multiplayer. It breaks you out of any combo, at any time. Just double tab the Break button to quickly enter and exit this mode to interrupt any combo for almost no mana cost. Neither of us perform a combo longer than 2 hits, the entire match. It was just a stupid run and jab fest. If break only retained its double damage bonus and didn't break combos, the competitive multiplayer might have been fun.

I wouldn't pay full price ($40) for this, given the knowledge I have now. I'd say if it really interests you, $20 or less is a good buy. $30 is really pushing it, unless you really like the idea of it. I'd give it a 6/10, on a true 10 point scale; meaning it's better than average but not great. If the AI wasn't brain dead or comatose, more enemies were fun to fight (like the Ents) and it had more meaningful content, this game could have been amazing. I don't quite regret my purchase, but, man, this game could have been SO much better than it is.

Well I haven't played Zero's Escape yet but I want to get it because the game before it 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors was fucking amazing.
Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask is also probably good. The other ones in the series are really good, and if you haven't tried them I would suggest either getting Spectres Flute or Mysterious Village.

Dream Drop Distance is really fun. At first the drop system can be kinda annoying but once you get to about the third world or so you should have gotten enough Drop me Nots to just avoid it and drop between worlds. The Flow Motion mechanic is also pretty cool and lets you traverse most areas quickly.
And all the other games I was gonna Recommend you already own.

Pushmo's a really fun downloadable title, and it has a sequel, Crashmo, which I haven't played yet. Another one that looks like it could be a lot of fun is Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure from Sega.

I'm seconding Rhythm Thief, the demo is up on the eStore so you can go get it from there, if you like rhythm action games with fun and quirky Japanese designs this is for you.

I also recommend The Denpa Men: They Came By Wave from the eShop...here's me quoting myself from my preview

"The Denpa Men: They Came By Wave is a cross of Dragon Quest?s tried and true mechanics, the charm and charisma of Animal Crossing?s gorgeously offbeat sights and sounds with all the wackiness of the Katamari franchise all rolled into one to create one of those surprising games that on paper should be pretty average but in practice is one of the most charming, interesting and plain fun RPG experiences of the last year..."

it's great
