Hey Escapist, what are your favorite Internet time-wasters?

i would think youtube would be a good place to go. not that special but you can find hours of videos on any topic you want.

The key is knowing what you want to look for before going in because, going in with the "I don't even care, I'm just so fucking BORED" attitude, you're constantly drawing blanks and getting more bored. Wikipedia's sort of the same way. If you know what you want, a binge is easy.

OT: Cracked.com. Many, many hours spent (wasted?) there, "learning" things. I suppose it counts as learning... they credit the shit out of all their information sources and it's all pretty legitimate. Either way, I could probably spend an entire waking day there if I honestly had nothing else to do.

One word, Minecraft.... Its cheap and if you can get into it it has unlimited playtime. Also armorgames.com is a good site for wasting time.

Also topwebcomics.com web-comics are one of my favorite time wasters, and they are great if you like reading, I suggest Girl Genius, El Goonish Shive, erfworld, and Goblins, also xkcd; you may need to look up a few with the search bar at the bottom. If you like those keep poking around.

Rooster Teeth has a you-tube channel, and if you haven't seen Red vs Blue take a look, Rooster Teeth also produces shorts that are pretty funny. Monty python also has a you-tube channel. CorridorDigital, freddiew, Smosh, TeamFourStar, vsause, and vsause2 are all worth a look. CorridorDigital and freddiew make cool special affect videos. Smosh may seem kiddy, but if you can get over that they are funny. vsause, and vsause2 have cool facts. TeamFourStar makes parody remakes of Dragonball Z, its some of the funniest stuff I've ever seen.
