I read!

I want to get Mogworld at some point.
Haven't read much gaming / nerdy books, but I have read a few from the Warhammer universe and 40k universe. I also read quite a few manga - Bleach, Deathnote - and LOADS of fantasy books.

I have bought and read the RuneScape novel, which was actually pretty darn good. Upping the scale of the world really helped.

What took you so long? Mogworld was and is a great book. He needs to write more.
My favourite series is Skulduggery Pleasant and I guess most of my books are "geeky" but only Mogworld and the Assassins Creed II book are video game based.

I read mostly manga. I own a copy of Mogworld too, but for reasons I'm not too sure of myself, I haven't read it yet. I should probably do that.

Mogworld is a great book, I finished reading it recently. A lot of the stuff I read nowadays is videogame based; The Halo and Mass Effect books being the most recent. I used to read things like the Shanara series and the Redwall series. Which are also good books.

I read part of that on Amazon's previewer. It seemed pretty bad. Maybe it picked up after a bit. I want to read it just because it seemed bad.

Anyway, I've read Mogworld, and all the Mass Effect books, 2 1/2 of the Doom books. I enjoyed Mogworld and it's witty humor, but the last half of the book was dull to me. The first Mass Effect book was okay, but the other two were much improved on--I can't wait for the fourth even though it's by a different author. And the Doom books reek of 90's B action movies, but they're oddly enjoyable.

Oh, and I have a few of the Halo books, but I haven't read those yet.

I don't know which part you've read, but it really gets better the further you progress into the book.
