Hey Lulzsec is back

So lulzsec has struck again. This time it's probably not such a big deal for anyone around the escapist but it seems that the whole British Phone Tabloid Hacking Scandal (has to be a shorter way of writing that) has brought them out of the woodwork to troll old man Murdoch and his media network.

They hacked the site of British tabloid The Sun and put a false news report about Rupert Murdoch dying.

Anyway does anyone see this as legit hacktivism or is this just Lulz for the Lulz?

Murdoch is a scumbucket, but I assure you that Lulzsec only used him because he's relevant.

If they do anything that seems remotely not terrible, it was most likely an accident or a necessary sacrifice for them to do something worse.

I doubt they're sophisticated enough. Most of their targets were on completely random websites, or were just simple DDOSing. Definitely agree that they're attention whores though.
