Okay, admit it - you still sleep with at least one plushie, whether it be from years back or that adorable little domo you saw in the window last week.

Mostly everyone when they were younger had some sort of plushie or stuffed animal that they wouldn't let go, where ever they were going. Mine was an orange and white cat that I nicknamed Charlie and to this day, about ten years later, I still have it; sitting on my shelf. I'm kind of regretting throwing away most of my stuffed animals since we moved over the summer (most of them being pokemon) but I managed to keep a few.

I still have a Snorlax from when I was eight, a Bulbasaur, a Pikachu backpack, the Beanie Baby cat Charlie, two bears from Toronto, a small bear from my elementary school that they sold when I was in grade six, the bunny from the book Guess How Much I Love You, a bunny from Build a Bear that a friend gave me in grade seven, a domo-kun that I bought in August and a giant five foot bear that I bought for myself that sits in the corner of my bed. All of them have special memories and some of them, I will never give up.

So I ask you escapist, what's your special stuffed animal/plushie?

I still have most of the ones I had when I was little. They're in a box, but I have them. I occasionally take them out and hug them, then sleep with some of them for a while.

Special ones...I have a Pikachu stuffie that used to squeak when you pressed something inside it. That's died now though. Still, IT'S A PIKACHU. Therefore, it is awesome.

Also got a bunch of stuffed rabbits. Why? Well, because rabbits are awesome, that's why.

I had a stuffed camel my grandfather gave to me before he died... Then it was stolen... But if I still had it, I would still be sleeping with it.

My little beanie beaver Chainsaw is my mascot on campus, and my dragons (Trippy and Freya) fill the role of cuddle target (if only slightly) that ought to be filled by a warm girl on those nights (all of them, these days) when I have to sleep alone.

I've got a bunch more (including Pyntie, whom I've mentioned in threads on here before). I love stuffed animals and they keep me company when I get lonely.

Most of my stuffed animals are in boxes in the closet. I really should get them out again...

Anyway, no, I don't only because I don't have any that are currently out, but I cuddle with my pillow when I sleep.

I only have two stuffed animals from when I was a kid, but I've started collecting video-game plush replicas/dolls/ and figurines lately. =D

I can't sleep with them or take them off of their shelf because I have three dogs, and I am afraid they would get ahold of them. They love plush dolls, but not the same way I do. They want to know what the insides are all about, when I'd rather keep them intact.>_> lol

That's exactly why I made this post; I was browsing Amazon.com and I was just like... Huh, *adds to Christmas list* ... Hey, I wonder what other plushies people have! It was kind of random.

But the dogs are a real shame - I have a cat, she won't do too much damage other than nudge the things around a bit.

I have a white plush that I've had ever since I was a newborn. I don't see myself parting with it this side of the grave.

I have a giant 4 foot long giant plushie tiger I use as a pillow and I'm not afraid to admit it. I love it because it's so huggable and comfy.

I have. I was/am 21. I had my reason.
I went over to my aunt's house and found out one of my cousin's had left for the weekend. Rather than have me sleep on the couch, my aunt and younger cousins insisted that I sleep in my cousins room. Creepiest place I've ever seen. Statues of The Crow, Jack Skellington, scary memerobelia etc. Needless to say, I was scared. So my cousin gave me her Elmo doll to sleep with. I never let him out of my hands. I dreamt of zombies that night.

My current plush BFF is a camel named Humphrey. Has been since I was about 14. I had a string of surgeries in high school, and he was sort of my good luck charm (and something to squeeze while I was getting shots, because I'm not allowed to hold family members' hands for that anymore). I keep him around in the hopes that I don't have to have those surgeries again. XD

He mostly sits on my pillow while I'm out and about. Keeps an eye on my laptop, makes sure nobody goes picking through my stuff.

I sort of want a small collection again, though. Starting with an ADORABLE Kricketot plush I found on Amazon. *____*

Oh jesus. That sounds terrifying... I guess you'll never make fun of Elmo again.

Mr. Bear has been a constant, stalwart companion, at my side from the moment of my very arrival to existence. Think the Snuggle fabric softener bear, but without that stupid look on his face.

I feel no shame. The Lugia I purchased at an anime convention, while the Pikachu I won at an amusement park. It was one of those cheap, "throw a dart and pop the balloons" game, and I won.

Thus, I placed my air-soft goggles upon the Pikachu, and now the two of them guard my movies.
