Hitman: Absolution. Will It Be Good?

Judging from this 16 minute gameplay footage, it seems as if they've made the game into more of an action/adventure game with a hint of stealth rather than a stealth-based assassination simulator like the previous installments. I'm a huge fan of the Hitman franchise, and I'm sure it'll take a while to get used to some of the new mechanics and camera angle. However, if it's anything like it predecessors, I'll be a happy man.

I think that a lot of people getting all caught up in flaming that footage forget that not only is it the tutorial level and therefore probably very linear (remember the Blood Money tutorial?) but the developers are gonna want to show off some of the newer features. Also, the devs have confirmed a hardcore mode that does away with the x-ray vision and shit.

Too be honest, I think with Hitman you'll never know untill the game comes out (or at least the reviews).

It will be a good game in the same vein as splinter cell conviction if the gameplay trailer is to be believed. What i saw was nothing like the earlier installments though.
