So ive played both WoW and SC2, seen both endings now, and i gotta say SC2's ending was alot better than WotLK's. It was good, short, didn't drag out and ended on a cliffhanger, giving us something to look forward to. WotLK's just kinda...seemed like it was thrown together in like 5 minutes and shipped out. Not graphic wise im talkin aboot story wise. Any other thoughts on this?

and does Kerrigan still have control over the zerg? if theres any left post artifact nuke explosion thingy of course

Loved the SC2WoL ending, brought a tear to my eye. I reckon that the main bulk of the zerg forces would have been annihilated by the relic leaving a few stragglers behind, and kerrigan will probably still have some control but not much at the start. I think Heart of the Swarm will have a story based around kerrigan reclaiming her influence over the zerg but now as a force for good, in preparation for the coming battle with the zel'naga threat. I imagine that the credit/reaserch system that they had for upgrading units will be given a psy-makover to represent kerrigan's level of psionic power and influence over the zerg.... it'll be interesting to see what it ends up like :D

Well, the ending to the game can potentially be very bad for the galaxy. I mean the fallen Xel'naga might not be stopped anymore due to Kerrigan's infestation being purged.

BUT There are a few possibilities. In the cinematic at the end, you see that Kerrigan wasn't totally purged of infestation, her hair is still all weird looking. Furthermore, in your laboratory, you can observe the Zerg specimen, and there you learn that all Zerg have the Overmind's DNA stored inside them, which could also serve as a solution to the Xel'Naga problem.

My post might contain spoilers, I'm not entirely sure. But it's better to be safe than sorry.
I was quite frankly a bit disappointed in SC2:WoL's ending. I think it lacked closure, I mean, we didn't get a proper ending to the revolution. Are they going to drag that out throughout the two other parts of the trilogy? Sure, Mengsk might be holed up in his palace but I was really expecting to put a bullet through his head. I've been waiting for that for 12 damn years.

How can you compare the ending of an MMORPG to the ending of a game that actually ends?
I'm confused...

I thought the ending was disappointing, I would much rather have Tychus survive than Kerrigan.

Well...
I don't like that the issue with Raynor and Mengsk were completely left out. And I knew Kerrigan wasn't going to die. It was mostly a short, but good ending.

Interesting to see Heart of the Swarm play out if it is supposed to pick up right after WoL.

My only gripe was with Tychus' betrayal. It seemed so arbitrary. I had my doubts about him early on, but after he got pwned by Raynor it was kind of obvious that he was going to betray him. Was it so necessary to kill him off like that?
