Horrizon Zero Dawn worth a buy review

Though I have absolutely no interest in either game, I will say that because of this, I'd be far more likely to get Nier: Automata than I would Horizon: Zero Dawn. Mainly because the story of H: ZD is preachy as all hell.

That's fine. Whatever you want. But I don't feel the comparison is fair since the games are two completely different style of game. It's like comparing a JRPG to Call of Duty. They appeal to two different types of people, with obvious cross over.

I'd guess he either is the WAB guy he keeps making threads to basically advertise videos of, or its a buddy of his. Like his last dozen or so threads have been the same videos with a couple of sentences tacked on.

Well, that wasn't that painful (and my ears already stopped ringing). Besides the nitpicks, it resumes to "this game doesn't cater to my preferences; therefore it's lame" and recommends it for console peasants (he didn't use that term, but the idea is pretty similar). Fair enough. I give this review a 6/10.

EDIT: And what I mean for preferences, it's gameplay. He didn't said anything about the main protagonist.

From my part, the lack of microtransactions means I don't mind paying full price. I'm just waiting for the patches to roll out.

He is best reviewer currently and say things professional reviewers will lose the job if they point out those flaws. I dont always agree with him for example his Doom review was terrible and complain about why its like old doom.

In what way precisely?

I watched a fair amount of his "reviews", and it comes across as some of the most shallow and one sided review material on YT( at least in comparison to more well known channels).
No clear structure or thorough analysis on sound design/music ( compare it with ACG), gameplay mechanics( outside of ringing the bell gimmick and yelling how it does not/suck...compare it with Mathewmathosis), narrative background/plot/characterization ( compare it to Superbunnyhop), main themes/discussion on genres/trends( compare it to Noah Gervais/Extra credits), or even basic "know how" when it comes to technical performance.
From what I've seen, he mostly cherry picks slices of gameplay that support his own viewpoint, ignores everything else, repeats the same few things ad nauseam ( the dumbing down, evil AAA, etc), while, at best, covering about 5% of game.
Hell, even Angry Joe is more methodical and non biased when it comes to this.
