Here's the deal.
I'm looking for a good, shit your pants horror game for my and my mate to play through on the X-box.
I was thinking of something along the lines of Silent Hill or F.E.A.R style
Already own Condemmed and Metro 2033
Not really interested in Dead Space or Dead Space 2.
I wan't something that'll be memorable, not just jump at me every 5 minutes.
(*activate flame shield* Not mocking Dead Space in any way, shape or form)

Any ideas, suggestions or tips?

Further discussion value: The scariest game you've ever played.

You could try Looming from the XBLA. Or maybe Alan Wake.

Cant really think of anything else because i dont actually own an Xbox.

EDIT: It's not Looming, its Limbo.

Got it confused with a flash game with the same art style....

From what I know, the current generation is somewhat lacking in horror. However, Alan Wake is a great game, but I didn't find it very scary. If you liked Condemned, I would highly recommend Condemned 2. The second half of the game gets kind of lame but overall the game is very good.
Other than that I can't really think of anything.
There are some excellent horror games available for the original XBox - most notably, Silent Hill 4 and Fatal Frame 1 and 2.

The first Fatal Frame is the scariest game I've ever played. If you can find it, pick it up.

You should definitely buy Dead Space (the original).

If you like Condemned then this is Condemned in space and with better graphics.

Go get Dead Space and Dead Space 2. You obviously have no idea what your taking about.
Mentioned I wanted nothing to do with them in the OP. Shush.

As for the rest. Some good tips. Is Amnesia on XBLA?
If so, that definatly needs a look in.
As for Alan Wake, I forgot to mention that I ran through it in one night on release day. God I love that game. No idea how I forgot about it.
Fatal Frame shall also deserve a look in.

Thanks for the tips folks. The rest of you, keep them coming!

I'm almost sure that it is not on XBLA.

So you're going to ignore an excellent franchise because of a silly, inaccurate speculation you made? Pathetic.

You sure about that? The original Dead Space is pretty freaky, and while the 2nd is nowhere near as scary it's still a great game.

FEAR 1 is damn good scare wise, FEAR 2 is alright but worse in every way aside from gameplay.

What you want doesn't exist on the 360. True horror isn't fun, so it doesn't sell, and so it's not on the xbox. People play games to be entertained, not scared out of their minds, however... there are some 'Dark' themed games that might not horrify you, but you will certainly feel apprehension, your heartbeat rise, etc. Deadspace is excellent for this. There isn't just "stuff jumping out at you every 5 minutes". If you think you can place a simple sentence like that on DS, you're just wrong. The sound in DS is simply put a masterpiece and its all you need to fill you with dread about going around that next corner.

But, you probably know best so hop on over to gamestop yourself and browse their games by category.

Also, Amnesia is a PC game. And its about running away from things. Thats about it.

A quick check of the interwebs confirms Amnesia is a PC exclusive. :(
A great game though. I need to get around to completing it...

You're lost.

The first Condemned is the closest thing the 360 has ever had to a good horror game.

If you haven't played Deadly Premonition, it's worth a go. Though, I'd recommend Alan Wake first (play it on normal/hard difficulty if you want to feel any actual tension, though - easy is too much of a cake walk for even casual gamers).

Amnesia is a PC/Mac title only, though it doesn't take much to run it. Check the requirements vs your computer's specs - it's a good title.

Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 4 are Xbox games, but they are playable on the 360.
Silent Hill: Homecoming is a 360 game, but I've never played that and it only got so-so reviews.
Fatal Frame 2 is an Xbox game that is playable on the 360.

Alan Wake
Deadly Premonition
Condemned 1 & 2
Call of Cthulhu

I love all of the Alan Wake love here! It makes my day. Just play that again on a harder difficulty! It doesn't really get scary, but it can be tense.

Or, try Condemned 2. I loved it. Beat it in one sitting. A few Silent Hill games are X-Box originals that will play on the 360. As is Fatal Frame.

Deadly Premonition is supposed to be good, though I (unfortunately) haven't had a chance to play it.

Limbo, while not really scary, is kind of tense and leaves you feeling pretty fucking hopeless.

Its a shame you don't want to mess with the Dead Space games. They aren't scary, but they're ridiculously fun. But oh well. Different strokes.

Really though, the 360's selection of horror games is limited. You're going to have to go to the PC for some better ones, like Penumbra and Amnesia (and this is coming from someone who hates PC gaming).
