Well, it's September in what I would call the hottest summer I've seen ever. Our AC in the apartment is busted and due to be repaired in a few days. We're all in shorts of some sort or hanging out elsewhere. The breeze that does come through occassionally is hot enough to make us wish it wasn't even there and we only have one desk fan and one large fan to cool off two bedrooms and a living room/kitchen area. In fact, our downstairs bathroom is cooler than the rest of the apartment.

So, how is the weather treating you?

We have had a mild end of winter, and today is grey and overcast. I think this weekend is looking good though 26 C and fine and clear.

I'm in Ireland.
We've had the shittest weather in the last two or three years. It's was getting hotter and hotter but now it's just raining and damp and cold.

South coast... England. It's been very unpredictable of late. Today was spastically alternating between high-winds and blistering heat. A couple days ago, it was pissing it down as well. Nothing so English as commenting about the weather...

We had merciful rain over the weekend, but it matters little now. I'm in Kansas, US by the way. Did sort of forget to mention that.

It's (let me see) 84.4 degrees where I am currently. The weather has been nice and it has cooled down a little but that doesn't bother me because it was a very hot august. I just hope it doesnt rain that much since I have to walk long distances on my college campus to get from class to class to car and there is no cover between the three >.>

There's a weird cloud pattern outside. Wait no there's not, the intense glare of the sun and just having woken up made the sky look grey with fluffy little clouds below. The weather's nicer this time of year because it's not cold enough to whine when you get up in the morning, but it's not so hot you can't wear long sleeve things. I wonder what it's like growing up with very distinct seasons with snow and orange leaves and everything rather than a variance between hot, mild, and mildly cold with not much difference otherwise, maybe a bit more rain in summer and subtle differences in foliage I don't notice much except in non-native plants.

Same here, the summer has been rather cool until now (last year we had several heatwaves), but this past week has been a fiery hell.

There's apparently a class 1 (lowest level warning) storm coming in over Sweden, but it looks like it might just brush by my town before passing on. I hope. I have stuff to do this week. =/

Basically it's been very wet and dreary here for several days. Typical Autumn weather really.

Ninja'd.

OT: Yeah, it's raining sideways up in the Lakes - has been for a few days.

Last month was the hottest month I ever remember. On top of that we have had some of the worst storms that both my Dad and I agree neither of us have seen before.

And another September, another record arctic ice loss...what is this about 10 years in a row now?

The UK has just had its coldest summer in 18 years. We had a very hot spring though.

I live in Norway.
Your problems are completely alien to me.

We have officially ended the season of "Decent amount of sun" here and entered the season of "Everything's grey and wet all the time".

And since when was september a part of summer?
September's clearly an autumn-month.

I'm in Southern California, U.S., near Las Vegas. So the expansive desert. Summer is a few months of triple digit hell- reaching 113F, and it's usually a dry heat. Luckily October is coming - in early October it'll be 75F-80F during the day with a 65F-70F evening and that is a treat for everyone. It doesn't really start to get that fall chill until late October, early November. The fall chill only last for a little while then we get slammed with freezing cold nights, and lightly chilly days. Though I haven't really seen snow for ten years, give or take. lol

Lately we've been getting more thunderstorms then usual. It makes the mornings cool which is a nice way to start the day - but it makes the afternoons severely sticky and muggy and just generally unpleasant.

I'm pretty excited that summer will be over soon. I always am. lol

Indeed oh and it's been windy as hell down in cork due to super fun hurricanes.

Very windy, and unpredictable; it'll be raining one minute then a hot summer's day the next. Hurricane katia probably isn't helping..

It is the same here every year, hot as hell and occasional heavy showers with thunder and lightning.
