How angry do you get when you play online FPS?

So I have a roommate who almost ever time he dies in COD: Black-Ops curses countless expletives(i.e. f**k, n**g*r) and it looks like he want to break everything in the room from every death that happens to him. A little background info on the guy, he does suck at the game a lot, he is Columbian, he already has temperament issues outside of the game, and sucks at pretty much every game in general.

I by no means am a good player in Black-Ops but I can usually get a positive ratio once every few games(he is almost always negative). Even when I do die I only get slightly aggravated only enough to push me to focus harder to get the kill, only saying damn under my breath after I die.

So my question is how angry/pissed do you get when bad things happen to you in FPSs?(COD, Halo, etc.) Do you yell to the skies in fury or do you get the feeling you just stubbed your toe after each death? Or some other emotion in fact?

"he is Colombian"- necessary detail?

OT: I know some people who ragequit incessantly, but I keep my cool. If it's camping or something of that nature I tend to get slightly aggravated, but all I do is talk a bit under my breath, so that's that.

Well, the call of duty franchise are the only games that make me rage like there is no tomorrow. Playing bad company 2 is so much more relaxing.

I do not get angry, for I am a god with a gun!

Seriously though, I don't get angry. My brother on the other hand...

I don't get mad really but then, the only FPS I play online is Reach and I haven't played that in a couple of weeks. The main thing that bugs me is, while playing team-slayer, if a majority of my team suddenly leaves, I'll get pretty miffed but not angry. If my team is doing really bad, I'll just say 'screw it' and start taking out my team-mate's shields. It gives me a cheap laugh at the expense of others.

I get annoyed, and maybe make dramatic gestures at the screen...but never break anything.

As for my brother...dear God...he just shouts and screams about how unfair it was and how the team sucks...and then he'll die while ranting and start really yelling.

I sometimes throw in a mild curse but, in general, I find killing my fellow players quite relaxing. Especially when I get to make things explode.

I only start getting mad when I get killed about 10 times without damaging anyone.

Also, I play TF2, so it's a lot easier to do SOMETHING, even if you're really new. Setting things on fire is superfuntimes. Also, backstabbing is incredibly gratifying. Except for trolls, the community is a lot less yell-y and insult-y, so it lends itself to much more relaxed gameplay.

Depends on the circumstances- e.g "Wow, that was such a crafty maneuvre" or "I can't believe that guy killed me, I shot him like 20 times- and now the games over. CURSE YOU LAG!!!"

I can get pretty angry sometimes. I've ragequit a couple games before. Generally it's only when something really obnoxious happens repeatedly in rapid succession. Like being killed in spawn 5 times in a row or something.

I think in recent memory I've ragequit from BFBC2 a couple times (spawnkills are TERRIBLE in that game), and TF2 like once. I'm not sure I've ragequit from Codblops yet, although I have definitely yelled at the screen on many occasions.

Usually, unless it's an extreme situation like I said, I just mutter some expletives under my breath. If I'm having a good time or otherwise doing well in the game, I don't curse.

In games like TF2 or L4D Versus, I'm generally playing with friends on my Steam list instead of internet randoms, so the atmosphere is a lot more jovial and relaxed, so instead of cursing to myself I'm usually too busy chatting with them on the mic.

I think actually all of my most violent bouts of game-related anger have been with single-player games. On one occasion I threw a PS3 controller across the room, then walked over and stomped on it it until it was destroyed. Anyone care to take a guess at what game series that was?

Another time I punched in the screen of a nearby laptop (different game, but also single-player).

Well depending on what happens I am usually calm,

I'm lying I am a fountain of rage if I start losing really badly at a fps game online. I swear quite a bit and just simply yell if I start losing badly or my team is doing terribly.

I'm not bad I usually get a positive ratio, but I just hate it when one guy constantly gets me and I can't get him.

I don't like to lose games, I don't care if I die a lot just as long as we win the game, then I am happy but if were doing terribly and I am getting killed a lot, I get really angry and rage quit.

Lately I have avoided Black Ops because of all that and playing Mass Effect 1 and 2 instead.

Being English I don't get angry. I just write a slightly aggravated but polite letter.

OT: This will sound like boasting, but when i play games(FPS) im normally near the top of the scoreboard and i try to play to the spirit of the game. So i get annoyed when im not winning due to other people using cheap means like noob-tubes or boosting (im fine if they are just better than me). if this happens i just leave the game and then find another which will hopefully not contain any arses. I also get annoyed if my team is just plain crap.

EDIT: something that will instantly stop me being angry is if someone else im talking to is already angry and is letting everyone in the chat know it. This is extra fun if you are able to add to this anger.

I've been known to get quiiiiite rage-tastic in certain games, Battlefield the most. I really only start raging when the aggravation starts to accumulate to a certain level.

Shooting someone in the face 20 times before they even notice you only to end up looking at the respawn screen?

Annoyed.

Empty all 17 rounds of my handgun into an enemy only for them to surivive?

Aggravated.

Losing because the rest of my team are busy jerking themselves off on the helipad?

Pissed off.

Knifing someone from behind only to have it fail, make the target turn around and blow my brains out?

I don't know what it is about Battlefield. I LOVE the game, but it pisses me off more than any other franchise out there.

campers and noobtubes ruin the fun when playing cod. it's a fast game and the game works best at a high pace, dying multiple times because someone is constantly in one narrow space waiting for ppl to run into their line of sight gets on my tits, but it's not so bad that i start throwing things and yell. i usually just find a different lobby after the match. dropping a few grenades on their ass and proceed in another direction usually helps as well.

I yell multiple filthy derogatory names. I don't say it to people just to myself.
EDIT: I don't usually get mad if I'm losing. I usually only rage when people are doing stupid stuff like camping or something. I'm like "REALLY?!??!?"
