Not only would I say your a nerd, but since you have bittorrent and a CD burner I guess I'd have to call you a pirate.

Holy crap that's awesome. Now you just need to figure out how to change the bar on the bottom. I wish I could make my computer into something like that.
On topic. Define geek? I don't think I am very much at all no matter what your definition is. I'm not very much of a tech at all, I just use my computer for whatever. I play video games, but I can't take apart my systems or anything and understand what I'm looking at. I don't have posters of any kind and I don't wear Xbox shirts or anything like that.

I'm simultaneously browsing this forum, the Order of the Stick comics, and the website for a LARP whilst writing up a character sheet for my new paladin by candlelight.

Does that count as geeky?

I work for the geek squad, go to school for computer security, spend all my free time on computers. I know about 5 programming languages, have about 30 D&D books, and to top it all off. I'm terrible with women.

I'm not that geeky by normal standards. I'm good with girls, I'm good in social situations, I'm not that bad looking, I don't have glasses OR braces(though braces are so common nowadays it doesn't matter) I'm fairly physically fit. Really all I do that is considered geeky is RP and Video Games(though even Video Games are fairly mainstream these days)

How did you change the log in screen, I always wanted to do that. Or is that Vista, I can't tell... >_>;
There's a couple of programs out there that will let you change things like that. I don't use them, so I can't link any, but my brother used them a lot back when he used XP. And I'm a geek, but more of a geek over multiple fields than a huge geek in one. So I can look like a geek to non-geeks, and an ignoramus to geeks in each field.

I remember having a sweet looking splash screen for XP when it booted, do you have something umbrella related there too? (splash screen is the windows logo with the bar scrolling about at the bottom)

I read Comics, I've been a Hardcore Gamer since I was 5, I browse Wikipedia and TV Tropes endlessly, I read Orson Scott Card books, I'm in the middle of reading Dune, and a load of other geeky things that I acn't be bothered to name.

Although, I'm good with girls and a star (American) football player for my high school.
