How did you choose your avatar?

I always wondered why certain avatars are appealing to people. I made mine of myself with my executioner katana because my friend said that it would look cool. Why did you choose yours?

Because it's my XBL avatar, which I made look like me, with a fun Escapist E on it.
So it's a cartoon version of me, branded for the Escapist.
It just seemed fitting.
