This topic is pretty interesting and sometimes hilarious as it is often very awkward for parents. How did you figure it out? Did you get "the talk", pieced it together, or sex ed at school? What is your story?

I never got "the talk" lol. When I was 12 I saw one of those sex movie things that you have to buy off the tv, I forgot what the title was called, but I watched it and it scarred me for the rest of my life. Even tho my parents saw it on the cable bill and confronted me about it they never said anything about it. A couple years later I took sex ed. in school. WOOOOo

I asked my mom where babies came from when I was six. She wasn't the type to lie, and I was smart enough to get it. It was the other kids who were traumatized when I told them on the playground. My parents got a few calls from a few other parents after school that day...

I learned it at sex ed class. Never got the talk, kind of glad I didn't. It would have made things really awkward hearing that from my parents.

Porn. Found porn online when I was about 8. Watched it. Was like "wazzat", so I googled it.

The internet taught me about sex.

I still don't know what the "birds and bees" story is! so... are they doing it or something? cause the best I can figure the birds eat bees and.. uh... that's how babies are made? idk... I got the biology talk, which was much more informative, and what i can gather, accurate.

I distinctly remember googling the phrase "Naked women" when I was 11. I never got the "talk."

I heard some kids talk about it at school and decided to teach myself everything by searching the internet when I was about 10. When my mom decided I needed to know when I was 11 she was horrified that I already knew almost everything. She was pretty much speechless and it really didn't come up again.

So yeah, I learned about sex by watching porn and about biological functions with wikipedia.

Just a few words: Older. Sister. With. No. Respect. For. My. Age.
She'd tell me everything, and I mean everything. She came out about being bi when I was twelve, and told me about the time she fell out of the bed while doing it. Do you know how much that screws you up?! (I'll give you a hint: I have pictures of Shadow the Hedgehog next to my bed.) Your sister says she likes to do both genders meanwhile you don't even understand what 'doing it' means, and you just get confused. And then barely a month later, she tell you another story. I tell you, I was the only one in my grade 7 class who could accurately define 'Cunnilingus'.

My dad sat me down when I was 10 told me flat out what it was called and described it and gave me the ultimatum that if I ever got a girl pregnant before we were ready hed tear it off.

Late grade school, learned it and saw video documentaries that have internal footage of the reproductive system. Then comes media then the internet.

I got the talk when I was 8. I was a really smart kid back then (I figured out that Santa didn´t exist by myself a few years earlier). Then again, my parents might have overestimated me a little. They used some anatomy books to give me reference, which helped a lot to clear the confusion. After that I had sex ed 4 more times on my life: on a church camping trip (in Argentina), in 6th grade (again in Argentina), in 8th grade(in the U.S.) and my Sophmore year (again in the U.S.). Its weird how fate kept grinding the topic on me. It was probably because I didn´t care much about it. As a fun fact, I´m 23 years old and I´m still a proud virgin. ^o^

Around when I was eight. Fucking pop-up ads... Then I learned about it the right way... I can't remember when. Or how. That's kinda depressing, actually.

I had to find out all by myself, since my utter gayness rendered my parents and school sex ed kind of useless. My mom did try though, bless her. Consequently, my first time wasn't very good. :p Second time was a lot better though, I'm a fast learner.

I learned through a traumatizing three years of middle school that jerked me from a rather sheltered childhood.
