How did you pick your avatar?

After seeing all the diffrent avatars around the Escapist I got to wondering how other people picked theirs. As for my self I was looking for something I liked and wasnt too serious looking, so i went with Jack O'Neals bonzo rant from Stargate SG1, one of the funniest episodes ever. What made you pick yours?

Well, I enjoyed the anime Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, along with the follow on season Higurash no Naku Koro ni Kai. So I decided to use an avatar from that...
And when I switched avatar, I always switched to a different one of the same character.
Until I reached this one, which broke my 'Change avatar every 1k posts' tradition...
I decided to add the Escapist 'e' earlier today.
And that is how I chose/got this avatar.
