How do you answer the phone on Lollipop Chainsaw?!?

Its been driving me mad. There are moments in the game where Juliet gets a phone call from her family and its suppose to be funny but I as soon as the pink phone indicator goes off I cant activate it. Ive pressed every button and combination but still no luck.
So please if you have any information on how to answer the phone Id much appreciate it. I just want to enjoy my game without that being a problem.

I've been wondering the same thing. At this point, I just have to go into the menu and listen to it there...

Ya and B/O is to Jump?? I dont get it. And the
Ticket to have nick do some random coin drop makes 0 sense. I dont even know how to activate it. I still like the game thus far just an odd control scheme.
