How do you play RPG's?

Grind. Whenever I get to a good spot (like a save point and healing area where enemies spawn nearby) I grind a few levels. Or I look for ways to exploit the game. On my second playthrough of Skyrim, I was level 70 in One-Armed and a Master in Sneak before I left the tutorial area. Thanks to Hadvar for being a bro about me using him as an attack sponge.

I usually play a main character going on a quest to save the world, or a kingdom, or something of the other. Normally I take on a handful of minio, er, companions and follow a nice story until its (hopefully) dramatic climax and ending. If I like the game enough, I'll do it all over.
