Since every single person on this planet is different we all view everything in it differently. Personally, i view things with emotions. To me, words aren't enough to describe the world, so instead when i think of a person or object i just think about the emotions that i tie to them.

I'm sure there are other ways, take my girlfriend for example. While we were discussing this topic she told me she views the world in colors. Like whenever she thinks of school she associates it with the color red or a certain shade of red.

I've heard of people who associate the world in many different ways, like numbers, sounds, smells; so how do you view the world?

(If there is a thread like this i apologise, i used the search feature and it came up with nothing)

I see it as a combination of touch, smell, sound, taste and colour.

It sounds like I'm being a smartass but there is nothing in particular I focus upon, just a combination of many factors depending on what the situation calls on.

I see the world as it connects to the rest of the world. Syncronicity, coincidence, blind stinking luck. I like to see how things unfurl and laugh about the odds of it all.

When you stop caring and take a good look around, the worlds a lot funnier. That's my opinon anyway.

Of late i find myself seeing the the things around me for the energy they give.
Good positive people and their positive energy, negative people the opposite.
Home, a warm sense of calm energy.
Work, a cold sense of vacancy. ( i am alone for most of my shift )
Dumb ass people, the sense of energy being sapped from within me.
Being in intelligent conversation, a buzzing radiant energy.

I barley feel my surroundings, everything always feels a bit numb when I try to sense what is around me and I don't think I've dreamt anything for about 3 years now.

I feel like my world view is waiting for some vital piece of knowledge to come fix it.

I view everything as being big. Gigantic.

Think of you. Now, think of you in comparison to your house. Now you street. Now your suburb. Now your city. Now your country. Now the entire planet. It's all so big.

Now God, I'm not one to complain, but perhaps it's just a little too big.

I think of things in terms of constellations, groups of things that aren't exactly linked except that there's a pattern in them that can be identified and then shown to other people, who will then recognize it if they see it again somewhere else.

I associate things with colours, like Tuesday with blue and the letter A with red, and the colours themselves with taste.

i saw a documentary about that, its not as rare as you might think too, its just its different for each individual and apparently it may have been the cause of speech and written language.
its called Synesthesia.

I'd be careful to diagnose you with it, though, unless the feeling is very powerful (from what I understand). I associate places with distinct memories and game levels with ideas or people but I definitely don't have synesthesia; it's more likely that my brain has made a weird link with the two ideas than that I have an extremely rare condition.

Basically, I tend to overthink the world. As a result of that, I guess I see the world philisophically. Like, why does this person do that, why do I do this, how come things happen this way.

I'm basically a schisophrenic emotional check up person if even that makes sense.

Mostly what he said, but sometimes words and sometimes whole visions spring to mind.

I see everything as a sparkling sea of cleanliness!! I also see everything as connected, living, and breathing, and so beautiful...

Till I leave my house...

Hey!

I see it differently when I'm tired, or on a high (Not literally high, just pumped (Not that kinda pumped, just excited (stop it!))

I see it, when I'm in 'normal mode' as a load of objects with emotions tied to them. Except homework. If someone even says that word near me I explode.

I view people as a pair of eyes with a body attached.

I view the world in a simmilar, but much more pessimistic(SP?) way. I don;t view the word neccessarily with numbness, but with both apathy and disgust. I'm not waiting for something to fix that in me, because it's already been validated by people many times. Im not lying when I say that everything, for me, is simply something to keep me occupied until either I die, or the world ends. Even though thats what everyone does, most people aren't thinking about that fact.

I view the world as a series of numbers, where everything has a specific number on, around, or in it, all the way down to the air that we breathe. I look at things numerically which some people find rather weird.
