What are people to you? What do you think of them as? Big, walking, talking, bags of meat? Skin stretched over muscle, controlled by a mind?

I think of humans bodies as vessels for the mind, and the mind? I have to think of it as... erm... I suppose it brings to mind a tapestry, where thoughts and opinions are the threads. Each and every thread is nothing on its own, but as they are woven together, they begin to take form, and some threads compliment and blend with others, while another thread may contrast it partner and thus, bring it out. Eventaully, it takes complete form, but new threads continue to be woven in constantly, and other threads are replaced.

So... Yeah, I guess. This is the part of thread-making that I always find difficult. Heck, This is the part of writing I always find difficult. How to end? Uh... LOOK! A PIE!

With my eyes, there, the joke is done.

I just view them as sentient creatures. We get born, we do some stuff, and then we die, and all of the stuff before no longer has any significance.

I view people as individuals that are capable of whatever they want, but become bogged down in their own doubts and the sense of pressure to act in accordance to what is deemed acceptable by one's society and culture.

I'm a bit conflicted over this one. Sometimes I view people as just dust. Meaningless dust. Both the greatest and most common of people are ultimately reduced to nothing but dust. And then sometimes (mostly when I reread Watchmen) I marvel at the existence of each and every individual.

People are frighteningly maleable creatures who are all too susceptible to the hegemony of society. For all the pride we hold in our intellectual capacity, we're perfectly happy to accept things without justification, and avoid thinking about things which challenge our preconcieved notions or make us uncomfortable. Overall we're selfish, cruel and disgusting accidents of nature. But, you know. Whatever.

I see humanity for what it is, a group of individuals, some good some bad, but most somewhere in between. I believe that Humanity could solve every problem that is put before us but instead we sit there and bicker like children, all the while blaming the other side for the stagnation and unrest that is ever present in our societies. I see humans as they are, nether good, nor evil, merely human.

People are just that: people. Forgetting that is the cause of much of the worlds strife.

Amazing mammals, I suppose. On a species-wide basis, I mean.

In my day-to-day dealings, they're either a nuisance, a pleasure to be around or just a background hum. So, like a normal person with an interest in evolutionary biology.

I guess I think the polar opposite to that - when I look around a vast crowd, I can't help but think each one of these people has a huge life story, their own issues, their own problems, their own interests, the whole lot. It stops me from developing a superiority complex.
Oh, look at mister "My superiority complex is smaller than yours!" You're not less superior than anyone else, bub, so get off your high horse! D:<

Ohohohohohohoho... me so witty.

I view them all differently, because they are different.
And what's with the hundreds of threads?
(guilty of that here as well)

When I ever I see a person I think to myself "What the hell our you doing in my world!!"

But seriously, I try not to judged(though sometimes do) and all that in till I get to know them. I've always like to watch cars and people go by, wondering were there going and what their doing and how they're getting about their lives.

I do find that insecurities being the only thing that keeps people civilized to be a bad thing. Then again, I do not believe that a group of people is any more civilized then an individual nor do I think that these insecurities make us civilized. It is all, however, a matter of perception.

Through their bedroom window... Without them knowing about it...

More OT, I see people as a mixed up bag of feelings, capable of good, evil and a whole range of in-between things.

On a person by person basis, its all well and good using a brush and painting them all the same way but as far as I'm concerned if you do that you are a fucking moron.

I think of them as complex mathematical formulas, most of which are irrelevant to me, and a very few a threat. Best course of action being to proceed with my own list of tasks, ignore the irrelevant ones and avoid the threats. Some people are useful to me, but most aren't.
