Pretty much exactly this. I like to wear my fedora when its rainy (yes I know you shouldn't, it destroys the felt) because it makes the rain drip down the brim. I likes it cause it makes me feel like an old 50s detective.
I also have a fez that I wear on occasion, and a straw hat for beaches.

I have hats, though. Berets, baseball caps, fedoras, trilbies, police caps, boonies, and everything in between. I wear them in a manner that suits whatever I'm wearing, so that varies.
