Well the title pretty much says it all, how does love feel to you?

And I believe in always answering my question first, so I think that when you're in love, all the songs make sense. If someone recognises that reference, please tell me, because I forget. And its like this person makes you feel happy with even the small things. Just thinking about them makes me smile. But what is your feeling about it?
:)

A burning obsession that overrides critical thinking and common sense. When you pour yourself into another and they to you they become apart of you, they're yours. Which isn't to say I wish to control them because thats not love in my book, its just how it feels to me. I think anyways

It's the thing that makes me not play video games all weekend, thus making it a more powerful force than anything else I've encountered.

Love is playing Borderlands coop with your significant other.

The having sex with her.

[sub][sub]Yes, I'm aware I've used that before...[/sub][/sub]

At the moment, it just feels like a normal obligatory thing. Because the only love I have is with my immediate family and best friend, which is what, I'm sure, most other people experience on a daily basis. I haven't yet gotten involved with that other kind of love that people love to talk oh-so passionately about, but it will come.

So, that's what love is to me in my current state of affairs.

Love is watching the face melt off of your adversaries and savoring their sweet screams of pain.
Together.

It feels really really great or really really shit, depending on how things are going with the person you love. It also makes you do stupid, irrational things.

Love is when I can think of a girl long dead without guilt, shame and despair.
Was that mean to be "can't"?

It's been different every time to me. Sometimes it felt like an overbearing obsession that threatened to smother me, other times, it was the comfort and warmth of having someone around I knew as intimately as myself. Other times tended to be more shit.

Love is like effort because you start to overthink the way you behave around her until you eventually don't know how to act at all.

"Master, 'Love' is making a shot to the knees of a target 120 kilometers away using an Aratech sniper rifle with a tri-light scope... Love is knowing your target, putting them in your targeting reticule, and together, achieving a singular purpose against statistically long odds."

*Love* that droid.

No, not at all... why did you think so?
When someone you love dies it is difficult to forgive yourself if you feel you could have done something to prevent it or contributed to the situation etc. Basically guilt and love can last a long time and really destroy you.

I see, and I think how you might view my position, but I was thinking more of... 'recovery' shall we say. When I can learn to love myself (or something like that) and when I can genuinely reciprocate the romantic love someone bears for me, it is twinned with a calm and contentment that, yes, I can think of her without breaking down and almost becoming catatonic.

The fact that it's happened on two occasions (well, effectively) makes it all the harder for me to hope for such aspirations...

Someone so intertwined with you own life that they are inextricable from you as akin to an extension of your own body. Being without them is like being without a piece of yourself. Hurting them is like hurting yourself. Love is the peace that comes with knowing that no matter what the world throws at you, you can face it together.
