How is your summer going?

Mine has gone pretty well. I've been out more than I have been home, which is a remarkable change for me. I even got myself a slight tan, which is all I can manage without getting burnt to a crisp. I even have a more tone body than I did before school ended, my life is a lot less stressful, too. Things have been pretty great for me this summer. Even found a temp job to pay for some of my more expensive adventures into town.

I've enjoyed my vacation, and it saddens me that it officially comes to an end on Monday.

To be honest, it's been a lot better than I expected. Sadly, mine ends in a month.

Fairly well. I met some damn awesome people at Escapism UK and got to hang out with friends I haven't seen in a while. However, after some enlightenment about my current career path, I'm pretty sure I don't want to go back to college, so I'm not sure if I want to enroll this upcoming semester.

I'd say good. I'm getting my somewhat out of shape butt into the YMCA every day, so that helps.

I was also introduced to a couple of great shows, like My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Lucky Star.

So yeah, I'd say its pretty kick ass so far.

I haven't had any vacation yet, I've been sick, and the weather so far pretty much sucks, so yeah... Well, at least I'm going on holiday next week.

it's actually pleasant... mainly because of the weather.

considering the heatwave in US east, I really can't complain.

But I do hate my organic chemistry class that I'm taking over the summer.

Me, home, alone, computer. It's all I've ever dreamed. I've been watching anime, playing vdeogames, I tried to study but I gave up quickly, I've barely done anything I told mysel I'd do, and I'm proud of it.

I've recently made the acquaintance of a very attractive girl from Mexico who is only here in the U.S. for a month during her break from school. We went out to a bar, and hit it off very well. I have however (and I'm not going to go into detail here) already messed things up....

so yeah, like I've already said: this summer is going to be pretty shitty...

It's pretty good. Sitting around playing xbox, hanging out with friends, etc. Pretty usual stuff but I must say it has gone by quick. I only have about 7 weeks until college starts again and I am sickened.

The cat I've known for 19 years passed away, and on that same day I couldn't even mourn him because I spent it writhing in pain in a hospital for a rupture in my ovary :/

I'm still not over his death, I find it hard to resist pouring my eyes out everytime I think of him.

But... on the positive side, a stray we were looking after had kittens, and while the responsibility is nothing to scoff at, they are delightful creatures...

And I finally bought a motorcycle.

So... I suppose the first thing that comes to mind are the negatives... just because they are so stark, but in honesty it has been a fair summer... Nothing like the summers I use to have, but the future is looking bright.

It's okay I guess. There isn't much to do where I'm at. The weather pisses me off with it's hot, cold, sunny, rainy confusion pattern. I'm suffering through allergies for the first time in my life. I'm pretty bored as well since I have to save most of my left over money. Can it be winter yet? :<

My summer is passed going, it's already gone,I'm in the last month of winter and thus not enjoying any form of holiday. My life is still stuck in the same unchanging routine, well I recently stopped watching TV in the morning but that's hardly a thrilling development.

Taking summer college courses, though one in particular interests me a great deal. Sadly, it is coming to an end in a week. I was having so much fun, too.

All good thing must end, I suppose.

June was boring as hell, as was most of July. However, the last couple of weeks contained my eighteenth birthday, which itself contained an afternoon on the beach, seeing a couple bands live, absolutely delicious Cajun food, free beer and skinny-dipping in a public pool at one in the morning, followed by a six-mile walk through the city in the small hours of the morning. There's still some residual contentment from how unexpectedly excellent that day was.

Otherwise, I need a damn job. After applying to dozens of places, exactly one has written me back, and that was to tell me they threw out my application and I shouldn't be expecting an interview. I'm nearly broke. Aside from that though, I have a new power supply and graphics card in my PC and can finally play whatever I damn well please, not just games from five years ago. So it's not too bad.

I haven't had a summer since I was still in Highschool. I get jobs during the summer now and never go to the lake >.<
