How many caps have you accumulated?

How many bottle caps did you acquire during the course of your journey in Fallout 3? I am not done yet (I still need to play Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta. Cut me some slack, I have Fallout on the PS3) but I have somewhere north of 31k.

How about my fellow escapists? I kind of want to see what ridiculous number some people have gotten.

Far to many. I'm sure If I added all the caps I've accumulated over my multiple characters it would come up to some ridiculous sum. Getting caps is just to easy towards the middle of the game.

Though that's a problem all Fallout games have suffered from.

Just over 560,000 legit on the Xbox 360 version, about 200,000 on the PC version, but then I had no need for my own caps besides paying for upgrades and repairs on my village.

Exploit meaning that I did use any mods, being it on the 360 as well as no item duping.

I got the game at launch and played for 16 hours a day since I was recovering from surgery, My first character build was Small guns, Barter, and Repair. He was a money making monster who horded ammo and sold everything that wasn't needed. I had amassed 100k in the first week, and roughly 100k each additional week until the DLC started dropping then the money making was kinda useless. After 500k I just figured I might as well keep making caps since I didn't have much else to do but level to 20(and then 30).
