How many escapists play Guild Wars, and how many would be interested in starting an ecapist guild?

Title pretty self-explanatory. How many are out there? I'm currently R6, focused mostly on PvP, specifcally HA, but that wouldn't have to be the focus of the guild at all. I am, however, currently looking for a guild, so if nobody wants to form one up, let me know if you have any spots free.

Also, I have my own ventrilo server we could use for the guild.

My housemates play a fair bit, I played through the original and really enjoyed it. That said I had split with my ex fiancee had financial trouble and was living back home. I dont have time for guild wars now but very much enjoyed it at that time of my life.

I played it for about 2 hours, didn't know how to play really, never touched it again.

If I pick it up I might be interested, but I can't decide whether I should A: try to balance my time with WoW, as this could be dangerous, B: Just play one or the other a lot less, or C: Drop WoW altogether. I mean, I like games and all and I REALLY want to try it, but I gotta have a life. If I do get it though, I'm in. I've heard lots of good things about it.

I've got a Ritualist and a Warrior fully equipped to PvP, so I can play around with pvp with anyone.
If someone wants pve I don't mind creating new chars or just help out with the ones I have. But there's just one thing

I DON'T and WONT have EotN

Long story short: I'm interested

I played it quite heavily back in the day, me and a group of friends had a guild that is well and truely dead now. I wouldn't mind having a group of people on to kill time with, though it seems a shame to leave my guild now that I've been auto designated leader for being the only officer to log in after a forever. :p

You know, it's that mentality that almost had me miss out on the original Fallout when it came out. I got it, couldn't get it, put it away. Then I saw someone playing it and they ran me through how to play, and it's one of my favourite games now. One of the best western RPGs I've ever played.

Now I'm not saying Guild Wars is going to do the same to you, but it IS a fun game. I'm sure there are plenty of people to help you get past the learning curve. Also, the tutorials are pretty solid (If I remember correctly...and I do).

Nah I love gwen but its not gwen who's gonna make me buy it.
The pvp started falling in the factions time. When it came to nightfall, something happened and I found massive pvp (guild wars specifically) pointless, everyone with the same builds and the one to pull of the better spikes won. Then came EotN...

"So... I want to vanquish area X"
"ok, get 6 max nord titled chars and 2 monks and we are good to go"

Its... depressive.

They made a great game, but I'm not giving them any more of my money for a second-class expansion.

I might, depends on what focus, im more PvP orientated, but no GvG unless its like BYOB on frozen... but i guess if you get enough numbers i wouldn't mind wasting some spare time.

Yeah, I'd be up for it. Need some help finishing the 'Prophecies' campaign, anyways.

I play. completed all 3 campaigns and EotN. Dont touch it much anymore. College and family time are a bit more important to me.

OK, so by the sounds of it a few people are interested. Maybe in order to cater to everybody we can have a mixed guild, PvP and PvE players. I don't know about other HA players, but I'm relatively comfortable taking unranked players into a team as long as they can use ventrilo and will listen intently to the more experienced players.

Any ideas for guild names + tags?

In Game Names: Cain Silverhead, Cain Uther, Avatar of Cain. I'll be reinstalling the game soon enough considering I unsubscribed out of the MMOs I was in. GW is a good alternative for Online PvP.

I play Guild Wars: Nightfall now and then. I'm not exactly what you'd call a hardcore player though.

Oh, they killed that Ursan build a while back, and it's no longer viable (thank all Gods of all religions in the Universe, I was sick of it).

I'm in for the Escapist guild! Not much of a PvPer, I have only Factions and Eye of The North. I consider myself an expert at PvE, and practically a Canthan Tour Guide.
So send me an invite (Yavanna Ainulindale, my beautiful level 20 Assassin with Elite Canthan Armour dyed white- sorry, it took me so long to get it that I tell anyone I can ^^)

tag: the
name: escapist

... sorry, I'm poor on ideas right now.
That would work if the tag came BEFORE the Guild name. Unfortunately, the format is Guild Name [tag], so it'd look like Escapist [The]. I'd say call it Escapist Magazine [ESC]
