How many RPGs have you beaten?

Yes, the title says it all, there likely have been multiples of this before, but I've not seen any within reasonable searching.

Anyway, on topic . . . how many Escapist? how many?

To clarify, I don't by any means mean gotten TO the end of, I mean seen the credits, put it down, had that wonderful feeling of "ahh . . . I've vanquished another challenge!" or hell even gone "finally, glad that's over"

I don't nessicarily mean 100% completion for the obsessed and the depraved. Though, by all means you still had to get to the credits to get the actual 100%. After all, beating EVERY side quest, getting EVERY weapon, EVERY piece of armor, beating EVERY secret boss but if you never bite the bullet and actually FIGHT Sephiroth then you didn't comlete FFVII

So, once again, how many? myself, despite the huge (and growing) number I've played and am playing through, the number I've credits roll completed holds at around 15.

Now, I would count both Morrowind AND Oblivion and any other such RPG with no true credits roll ending to it, hell, let's count WoW and Everquest and the like! go wild Escapist go wild!

I have to admit, I'm curious as to what everyone here considers an RPG. To me, increasing stats somehow is not enough to qualify as an RPG. If Diablo or Fable is an RPG, then so is Modern Warfare 2. It has something passing for a storyline, it has a system for increasing abilities, but that really isn't enough. The name RPG (Role Playing Game) sort of implies that you are able to somehow inject a custom made character, a role, into the game. According to my personal ideas of what the term means, Pokemon isn't really an RPG. Neither is The Gauntlet, for that matter. With that said, I'm fully willing to accept that other people's definition of an RPG may vary from mine.
