How much Half-Life 2 did you play last night?

So last night was the "Call for Communication: Red Letter Day", where we protested for some kind of communication about the whereabouts of Half-Life 3. Me and my friend took part in it, sitting on our computers for 8 hours straight, completing the whole game in one sitting, which was fun and awesome. Didn't sleep much last night, in fact, when the credits rolled, it was 5am.

Did you take part in Call for Communication? If so, how much did you play?

Eh, I was at work anyway, Besides, I already replayed HL2 recently. Guess I could have got stuck into Ep1 though... ah well.

I played for about three hours and was able to finish the game past entanglement. I could probably have finished the game in about two more hours if I had rushed, but I had other things to do and couldn't get back into the game after taking a break for dinner.

5 minutes, I got stuck at a bit in City 17, had no Squad to heal me, forgot I didn't have regenerating health, and died.

I'd just started the level with the Antlions by the time it got too late to carry on.

I had to play my iTunes library in shuffle through Ravenholm, to make it tolerable. It was still scary, but much less so with John Lennon singing about how your bird can sing to George Harrison's awesome riffs.

I didn't play any. I would love to see Valve release some new games but I am not losing any sleep over it taking forever. Half Life wasn't exactly the epitome of gaming for me anyway.

About 45 minutes, didn't really feel like playing for that long and I had coursework to do.

I was annoyed that only about a quarter of the people who joined actually played. Really, this is so typical of the Internet. As if "taking action" just means pushing a button.

I had it running whilst actually playing Starcraft II.

Then went to the pub. Saturday night wasn't the best choice.

Didn't play. I was replaying Uncharted 3 for some reason instead. I should have, I haven't replayed HL2 outside of GMod in some time.

Did not play, my pc fucks up after 30 minutes of play, besides, I had better stuff to do.

Woke up at 5am to play, played till ravenholme, then saw that a lil over 10% of the group were actually playing HL2. Got mad people chose to play MW3 and fucking Terraria over playing HL2 for 30 minutes, and logged off.

Why would you join a group, then not play? I can understand being out, or at work or something. But to join a group dedicated to play for a small amount of time, log on and then just go play something else? WHY DID YOU FUCKING JOIN?

My thoughts exactly. While me and my friend sat there trhough the whole game without stopping, I got very frustrated that people didn't care enough to play even for a few hours. I want to see the full hour-amount people played that day. I don't think it was that much. I was very disappointed with the community.

None, I was actually having fun on TF2. Valve will release info when they are ready I don't know why anyone expects anything different.

I played for about five hours.
It was nice, fans playing it at the same time, getting some publicity and reaching 50k people. Also, at least on guy from Valve was playing as well.

Wait, what is this thing HL2 thing going on? I can safely say that i've never heard of it...

Meh back to my UMVC3 binge I suppose. Wonder how many Dark Wesker hopefuls i'm gonna have to snap in today? 2 in half an hour and counting.

About 3 hours. I had a lot of fun exploring many of the achievements they've added since I last played the title.

And since I was specifically looking for Lambda sprays, I found a ton of lil' secrets.
Fun stuff.

Started a new game and got halfway though Nova Prospekt before going to bed. About 4-5 hours since I was trying to get the achievements they added.
