How often do you see your friends? Just curious.

I don't think there's an easy one-size-fits-all answer to this. It's going to be different for different friendships.

I'd throw a poll in, but nah.

Anyway, that's my question. How often do you see your friends?

For me, if we're speaking in person, it's around every 3 months. More or less.
If I chat with friends online, maybe every month, month and a half. I'll admit, I'm not a very social guy. And maybe we're not really close friends either.

I haven't seen my old friends for many long years. They may be dead, for all I know. It's really out of my hands, though, so I don't worry.

My flatmate is one of them but apart from him I'll usually see at least some of my mates every other weekend. Seeing your mates 4 times a year seems a bit sparse.

Not since early August last year.

Lots of changes in my life occurred around that time.

Cutting myself off from my friends was one of them.

Everyday I guess.

There might be a day or two when I'm too busy working or too poor to socialize, but that's a rare occassion.

Almost every week but I speak to them everyday over Skype for the various games we play. Some of my really good friends from highschool I won't see but maybe once a year. Sucks but long distance does that.

What are 'friends' and where can I get them?

On a srs note, I saw one day before last actually who wants to arrange a Tuesday night thing so we can watch Breaking Bad. another one I saw the day before and I've said I'll come to his Saturday because I have some games he wants to borrow.

I was gonna double date with one today but she hasn't got back to me so I assume she isn't interested. :/
Another one has started talking to me again but has been too busy to meet up but says he's 'really really looking forward to seeing me for a coffee.'

Its weird, about 4 or 5 old school friends have started talking to me again and I'm planning on moving away soon :/

On a more note, I see them at school everyday, but rarely outside of it.

I see them every time I look at them. Or at my fridge, on which I have a photo of my best friend cosplaying Homestuck that's held there with Kirby magnets.

I see my friends from college every day and we try to do things outside of college hours once a week or so, depending on our workload.

I see my friends from my hometown whenever I get a chance to visit or they come to visit me, which is once every couple of months.

I try to keep in touch and do things with my friends as much as my schedule/funds will allow.

I share an apartment with my two best friends, so I see them everyday, but I do have friends from high school and collage that I haven't spoken to in years.

Well, friends I had in college live all over, which makes seeing them difficult. My best friend is one I chat with on a regular basis, although I only get to see him every six months or so now.

I tend to see my friends at least a few times a week at gatherings for groups or classes. Outside of those more "mandatory" meetings, not much.

Outside of college, don't have many friends. I have some I see at church once a week, and we occasionally get together after church to eat lunch. After that, though, I've moved around so much that I really never have time to develop very close friendships that last after moving. Then again, I'm not a very social person, so making friends is hard enough. Moving so quickly that I never really have any close friends pretty much kills my social life.

It's getting harder, because damned if the buggers wont keep moving all over the place.

Of my friends in the area, we tend to meet up about once a week, although often some can't make because they've got other stuff going on. I used to do stuff more often, but finals have turned me into a hermit.

Apart from that, I tend to meet up with my oldest friends anywhere between 2-5 times a year, depending on how often we happen to be 'back home' at the same time. We always meet up over Christmas.

Everyone else, I only interact with over social media.

Oh, except my family, who also only get me a few times a year, but for longer stretches.

For face to face, it's somewhere between 3-5 times for my best friend. It depend how many superheroes (we're both into comicbooks) or other films (e.g. we went to watched Wreck-it Ralph) that are out and other events we meet up for (like Christmas shopping or a convection we go to).

In saying so I haven't seen my other two closest friend in years (we keep in touch via Skype and chat weekly). One of them lived far away now and the other can't make an effort for a genunie meet up (he either swamp with his freelance work or competely low on money).

It depends. Right now i see one group once or twice a week during the W-E and the other group once every two weeks or so. But i'm planning on getting a place with friends so than it would be "every day".

Every month to a couple of months, none of my friends or me for that matter are particularly proactive about arranging meet-ups and so it takes a while for anything to happen, we exchange messages online more often though.

It depends, as I have friends from all over the world. My friend that lives in Canada, I see about once a year when she comes to Britain to see her family, and last year I went out to Montreal to go and see her. My friends that live in the UK, I like to see as often as I can, usually about once a month, however, lately things have been so hectic in our personal lives what with moving, jobs, etc, that we can't really see each other that often any more, but I try and see them as often as I can.
